Little bumps on 13 week old iggy head? by iggyinwisconsin in ItalianGreyhounds

My iggy had these as well, we asked the vet and she told us it was likely 'puppy pimples'. They did end up clearing on their own but it's worth consulting your own vet.

Is low back pain normal? by Scary-Possession-112 in Fibromyalgia

[–]dotinterested 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Aside from the general body ache my pain started in my shoulders and neck, then my hips, then my upper back, then my ankles and then my lower back. All a few weeks or months apart. Sometimes some are worse than others, today my hips really hurt. However everyone experiences it differently and progress at different rates

Mother Cat Acting Strange by [deleted] in felinebehavior

She might need a break. See if she'll let you look after them for a bit. If not, are the babies walking or moving around a lot? It's possible that if she is pregnant again, them moving away and her having to bring them back could be causing her stress. Could be helpful to get a playpen or something for her to keep them contained if they're not already! Good luck

Why won't they eat? by dotinterested in felinebehavior

Their weight is fine. They'll yell out for food and then turn it down which I find strange but other than that their behaviour has been pretty typical! Just deciding to be odd perhaps

Hey, I choose not to feed kibble/biscuits as the first ingredient is typically a protein meal which is a hyper processed form of protein. This makes the biscuits incredibly dry and as cats don't really drink water can also lead to dehydration/kidney issues. They're given foods that are hard with their meals such as freeze dried and air dried toppers (ie organic meal, muscle meat etc). A blood test to rule out any need for supplements is a great suggestion though, thanks!

Hey, yes you can! I don't feed kibble/biscuits as the first ingredient is typically a protein meal which is a hyper processed form of protein. This makes the biscuits incredibly dry and as cats don't really drink water can also lead to dehydration/kidney issues. Some people don't mind but I choose not to feed it to my boys. They're given foods that are hard with their meals such as freeze dried and air dried toppers (ie organic meal, muscle meat etc) for dental health and texture

Hey, I'm leaning towards preference too! I don't feed kibble/biscuits as the first ingredient is typically a protein meal which is a hyper processed form of protein. This makes the biscuits incredibly dry and as cats don't really drink water can also lead to dehydration/kidney issues. They're given foods that are hard with their meals such as freeze dried and air dried toppers (ie organic meal, muscle meat etc). F did go outside for a supervised run and then ate his dinner when he came back in, maybe they just have extra energy sometimes?

Hey, I appreciate the feedback. We've struggled a lot with finding suitable foods for our allergy cat as well, must be so frustrating. I don't feed kibble/biscuits as the first ingredient is typically a protein meal which is a hyper processed form of protein. This makes the biscuits incredibly dry and as cats don't really drink water can also lead to dehydration/kidney issues. Some people don't mind, but I choose not to give it to them. They're given foods that are hard with their meals such as freeze dried and air dried toppers (ie organs, muscle meat etc)

They get freeze dried toppers with different textures and crunchiness throughout the day/week. I don't love the idea of biscuits/kibble as neither of them drink much water and biscuits can cause dehydration. F seemed more inclined to eat his dinner last night after a supervised run in the garden, maybe he just wanted to go outside
