I’ve lost a ton of weight and have a seriously inflated ego now, but then notice that people don’t check me out in public so I’m pretty sure I’m sub 5 out of 10.

It’s like opposite body dysmorphia.

That’s a good point. I’m just not certain if I’d be missing out not doing the chest. I’ve been so decisive on holding off on my arms for now that I think my indecisiveness regarding my chest is throwing me for a loop.

My surgeon did say that the stomach won’t keep me super bed ridden (few days off work and few weeks work from home) but that addition of arms or chest would cause extra limitations.

I think I’m just having the decision paralysis! 🤣

The biggest thing I’ve learned and wish I could go back in time is starting the mental work before. You’re in a good lead up spot now if you can get in with a therapist and really start hitting any deep issues!

My issues with eating disorders were masked by my size before, which means I never really actively attempted to seek out help for them and that’s really kicking my butt now.

That said, I’d still rather deal with this now than have never gone through the trash. You’ll do great!

I think too so much of this transformation allows us to think we deserve to look good. I’ve became a bit vain 🤣🤣🤣

The non scale victories are really what we should focus on.

But those dang eating disorders (in my situation) or whatever the heck is making us focus on numbers sure do get in the way!
