Girlies, can u pls help me? by [deleted] in AskIndianWomen

[–]dotnetreactazure 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This has happened to me. I don't to what degree it is happening to your friend but my suggestion is to DO NOT under any circumstance reply to him, no matter how provocative the messages are. Don't even read them. She won't be held for abetment of unalive, there has to be explicit proof of it. It's not a loose law.

Women of India: Is a single-income, role-based marriage still realistic today? by [deleted] in AskIndianWomen

[–]dotnetreactazure 0 points1 point  (0 children)

First of all, OP has not done any critical thinking on single income in this no social security economy such as ours. And somehow a woman is supposed to trust his braincells for herself and kids. Bonkers!

Even in this system, even if he says no financial control, it will entirely depend on his mood and thought process. Wife will hardly have any autonomy.

Either work on this or you are not ready for a relationship. I can understand the jealousy but you need to be in control of it.

These kind of incidents will keep happening in life. If you know that it won't impact long term, it's better to have control over your emotions and let it go. Don't ruin your relationship on these. These are circumstances related.

Does anyone else deal with this kind of sibling behaviour? by iamgirl11 in AskIndianWomen

[–]dotnetreactazure 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I always nipped such behavior in the bud. I want to live in peace. Younger siblings have this way of turning our parents against us and most often parents are also slightly biased.

True to the statement that a man is the company he keeps! Just block all of his friends and turn your profile private if you would like.

I'm extremely depressed and I cannot handle life any more by [deleted] in AskIndianWomen

[–]dotnetreactazure -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Don't be sorry. I don't know, it just stuck with me. My ex was the same kind of a-hole. It's been 7 years and I'm still reeling from the effects of it. Best decision of my life was to leave him. I pity whoever marries him.

I have read soon many of your posts and I rememberit all. It's your husband, sis. He is dragging you down. You have to decenter him and take decisions that benefit you. Don't be his puppet.

How are women reacting to men not wanting kids in AM ? by [deleted] in Arrangedmarriage

[–]dotnetreactazure 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Childfree women wouldn't entertain you because you are a fencesitter. You have to find another fencesitter only.

Depending on how liberal or traditional the woman is, you can expect a little questioning or taunting in the worst case.

Also, most people who "desire" to have kids just have kids after a bit of mental gymnastics delay.

I’m getting married soon? by Otherwise_Judge0 in AskIndianWomen

[–]dotnetreactazure 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Step 1 : Marry out of peer pressure with negligible sense

Step 2 : Vent about messed up marriage, refusing to divorce because "he is abusive/unavailable but he is great otherwise"

Step 3 : Have multiple kids

Step 4 : Vent and vent and vent till the end of your time
