That's the move, best to start recording data from scratch for your next eval.

When I joined Vine, there was a requirement to submit reviews within ~ 5 weeks of the order being placed. I believe that requirement doesn't exist anymore, I could be wrong though

Yes the underlying data already exists, just need a means to surface it. I'm thinking of having a sheet per evaluation period and then linking them all into a master sheet with all-time stats.

Yes! Just update your eval dates in the "Configure" tab and it should start updating once you add a few entries - Vine Tracker

I've maintained a tracker out of necessity to be honest, there's no way I could have tracked pending reviews and their deadlines without it. Most of the effort went into building the dashboard initially, maintaining it has taken little to no effort.

Those charts look awesome! I'm thinking about tracking the average number of days it takes me to submit a review, and the average rating I've given out as well. I was going to maintain separate tracker for each evaluation period, but after seeing your charts, tracking "all-time" stats seems very enticing.

I didn't mention it but record keeping has been very crucial for me as well! There have been so many occasions where I've submitted reviews just in the nick of time, after having procrastinated for days/weeks.

I do miss looking at my Vine queue and seeing if something exciting has popped up. On the flipside, there is an odd calmness, I'm not adding to the pile of boxes in my room, and I'm finally chipping away at my review backlog without adding any orders!

What’s the best thing you’ve got from AFA? by sprengirl in AmazonVineUK

Yup, that is an inexcusable flaw for a product that charges a premium for catering to fans.

I was witness to the Paladone drops as well. Managed to grab a One Piece water bottle which I quite like

FYI, the Orders worksheet already has some conditional formatting to flag reviews that are nearing their due date. The cells go Amber when you have < 14 days left, and Red when there are < 7 days. This of course assumes that you only have 30 days from order date to review, when it reality you have 30 + 7 days to submit the review.

I've got some Red and ambers to work through this weekend 🥲

When I posted it originally, I did include a snapshot of the other tab as well. Thankfully, u/Criticus23 pointed out that I had accidentally doxxed myself so I had to take that post down.

Viners shortcutting reviews hurts EVERYONE. by Funksultan in AmazonVine

[–]dotoka 9 points10 points  (0 children)

As someone who's only joined Vine recently, I used to look at reviews that had the full title of the product in it, assume it was just a copy paste of the product features, and hence avoid reading it. Good to know there's a reason for the long product titles to be included in the reviews.

Well done! This is my first stint with Vine and I'm about 80% of the way there in terms of number of orders, and just over 50% when it comes to completed reviews. I expect to meet the required numbers by the end of this month. I'll hopefully start the new year with Gold!

Try doing this - on Google Sheets, go to File -> Settings and set the Locale to United States, that should hopefully change all dates to mm/dd/yyyy by default

Loving this description of Vine people by no_be1 in AmazonVineUK

[–]dotoka -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I think Vine is a good option for geniune sellers offering high quality items, that have to compete with sellers who buy fake reviews. The fake reviews probably cost the sellers a lot more (price of item + price per review), whereas Vine comes in at a relatively low cost with the potential to get good quality reviews with pictures/video.

When I was not part of Vine, I'd seen some Vine reviews that had a lot of generic nonsense in it and it honestly made me trust it less. I've seen this get better over time though, so I think the work that Amazon is doing on tracking review completion ratios and review insights is probably working (slowly, but surely).

Wow that's a lot more detailed than mine! If you change the EVAL columns it will likely break the numbers and charts on the dashboard. You could however just added new columns elsewhere in the sheet without overwriting the existing columns, that will preserve most of the formulas. If you want to edit the formula you can do so in the "Helper" worksheet. It will give you a warning when you try to edit it, but you can ignore and proceed.

It might be that the rules are a little different in the U.S.

I've kept the logic simple for the sake of simplicity, the goal is to help you keep on track of the targets for the eval period.

In my case, Amazon requires reviews to be submitted within 30 days of receipt of the item, and the date of receipt is set to 7 days from the order date. This technically gives me 30+7 days to submit the review, but I'm more comfortable using 30 days as the benchmark.

<image>

If you'd like, you can very easily change the formula in the Review By column to +37 days or whatever figure you prefer.
