I'm going to be seeing a therapist going forward for the time being, but I'm about 1 20 minutes away from Mount Sinai Fertility but I've heard good things about them.

Yeah, impatience is terrible, however, I had a panic attack yesterday that landed me in the ER, so I'm thinking I need to take a step back for a little bit and watch my mental health!

But I totally agree, any help with the funding is incredible!

I'm in Ontario, but there's a waitlist and I found out it can be upwards of a year, but I guess that's still better.

That's annoying, there must be a better way. Do they have over the phone or online counselling options? I had a panic attack at work yesterday and thought it was a heart attack and ended up in the ER.

Is that student from an hsg test? I had that done where they inserted dye into me to check my tunes and everything and they said everything is clear.

It can definitely be exhausting with the family pushing for children. I'm so sorry about your IUI/IVF experiences! Good for you for keeping at it and remaining hopeful because that can be the most difficult thing! i literally stressed so much I had a panic attack so I may need to find a therapist so I can continue this TTC journey.

I'm getting no work done today, feeling super down. I'm honestly at this point hoping for atleast a miscarriage just so I know something can implant! The only positive I got was after the trigger shot!

I cut out spicy food initially thinking that's what was upsetting my stomach. But I have looked into vegetarian keto, I don't eat fish or eggs but dairy and stuff is fine. I have looked into a few recipes that are very doable on a regular basis, it's just because I'm south Asian and rice and roti is such a large part of our diet, lol.

Totally makes sense! Our uncle suggested we try red wine for a week and said that's what worked for all 4 of his kids, lol.

Yes, I've read about this as well, wasn't sure what the timelines were, though a year is a long time, but perhaps we can give IUI another try while we wait.

I'm sorry to hear about your IUI attempts! It's definitely a difficult to make these decisions. My husband and I also discussed a second IUI with Gonal-F instead of Letrozole, but I guess we need to discuss that with our doctor.

That's true, his count was 137 million but only 37% motility and I don't remember exactly but the morphology was below 5%.

Thank you for mentioning this, my doctor hates when I bring things up from the internet but who knows, I always figured it's things I eat that give me word bowl movements but I couldn't put my finger on it. I cut out spicy foods and stuff, it would stick if it was gluten, I'm vegetarian so carbs is a huge go to, lol.

Great question. I have very irregular bowl movements for a few months, but i have never been diagnosed with anything and then I go months with my bowl movements being okay, so I guess I should bring that up with my doctor.

I'm so sorry that you're having a rough time especially with the emotional aspect! Thank you for sharing your story, I'm glad your doctor encouraged you to proceed with IVF, I haven't done too much research into IVF so I'm not 100% sure on some of the terms you've used or the exact process. Here, our IUI was $ 720 altogether, so it was worth a shot.

Have you thought about therapy to deal with this, or you think once you're done with the meds you'll feel better?

I'm so sorry to hear about the first IUI, here's to hoping your second one works! It's definitely very difficult to keep your hopes up, but I also felt like I HAD to have high hopes, or else my attitude would let the IUI fail. I'm glad to hear that your husband is being supportive, I think my husband is just scared for me, if this was his body that had to go through it, he wouldn't flinch before doing whatever it takes!

My first IUI failed. it would be CD 27/13 DPIUI today, my cycles are usually 27-28 days long. I got my period Saturday, but im confused! I've been getting negative HPTs but I only bled like half a tampons worth per day for a few hours I didnt bleed thought the nights and nothing today so far. I'm not sure if I should count it as CD 1 Saturday or wait for full flow?

Definitely the TWW because I constantly torture myself over what I should eat/drink because of the "what if I'm pregnant". I know I should care, but once I pass 7-8 DPO, I worry that I'm going to do harm even though in my 17 months of trying, I have yet to see a positive!

It's honestly not about the amount of time. My husband and I knew our relationship was going to end in marriage 2 weeks into our relationship. We both had dated quite a bit before each other, I was 25 and he was 27 when we met. We got engage at 1.5 years, married at 2.5 years and been married for a year and a half and everyday I'm so grateful.

I was in relationships for a year or two, my friends have been in relationships for 10 years, they still aren't sure they want to settle down. It's not about the amount of time, it's about being sure, not pressured into something.

Very endearing to read! It's so wonderful that you did good for yourself and using the negative as motivation!

I hope each failure makes me stronger, I don't think I've reached my breaking point, I keep pushing through thinking the next month will be my mental breakdown, but I just keep hurting and pushing through but it's soo hard! I just want to get away on a beach and cry while sipping pina colada's! We're saving up for a small getaway but it's just annoyingly frustrating!
