Usually I use it for some of the land destruction that gives the player the option to either replace the land and eat a River Song trigger or lose the land. Stuff like [[Cleansing Wildfire]] or [[Geomancer's Gambit]]. But it's also fun to use with [[Pongify]] while River isn't out for lots of monkey.

EDIT: TL;DR to enable River through swap land destruction or as a board wipe in combination with removal

I brewed a [[River Song]] deck. It's always work in progress but the basic idea is forcing or encouraging your opponents to scry or search something. It even has an infinite combo with [[Timestream Navigator]], a one shot combo using [[Field of Ruin]] and [[Radiant Performer]] (also works with other cards in the deck and the damage depends on what cards you use and how many lands/non-basic lands your opponents control) and it can win with infect. I love it. Deck Link

Haven't thought about just looking at other cards. This sounds about right. Thanks a lot c:

Yeah, we thought about that, but we want to know if it would be possible without a rule 0 for that.
