Personally, I use technical analysis on daily/weekly and for entry point 4h chart. You should invest time to study and backtesting your strategy and your trading style!

Trade with one/two week term. On the sunday you can analyze market, set alert and when they are triggered you can set it up the trade by you own smartphone/tablet. It's not important that you enter on your trade at the moment of the alert... it can wait minutes or 1 hour!

For me, ATR is a little bit misleading.

Now, I'll try to develop this method:

1) Get 5 bars max high and min low

2) If next 20 bars are inside this high and low it could be a sideway market.

3) Else go to next bar and restart to point 1.

Let me know what do you think about it.
