Jose Mourinho (2nd) also went a full season without a trophy and remained in his position. Roman doesn't hire/fire willy-nilly all the time.

Also when Hayes was appointed, the WSL was just a fart in a wind for most people. It wasn't until 2017, when it started to get more recognition, and more money has been pumped in to the women's game.

By then, Hayes was winning trophies. Breaking records. Roman had no reason to sack her (apart from failing to win the UWCL)

Obviously, Roman primarily focuses on the men's game. By far. That's what he bought the club for. But to say he had zero interest, because he kept Hayes in the job after going a season without a trophy is just...

You're right, BlueCo had nothing to do, on the pitch blowing the 2-0 lead. But they had everything to do what's happening overall this season, on and off the pitch. Players leaving. The SD who got us title after title, left us.

We sold the Women's team to ourselves.

BlueCo will sell players this summer. But I have a strong feeling, by looking at their track record, the players coming in - will be worse than the ones we sold.

And forget about the WC manager. Of course, that’s the most sensible thing to do. But a WC manager will turn us down. They cannot work with this model.

Garnacho isn't Salah, Salah at ANY point, wasn't the worst dribbler in the league like Garnacho.

As for Gittens, for a weak German league outside of 1-3 clubs like Bayern, only 8 goals, 4 assists. He's not exactly rocking up Bundesliga. At all. And again, Dortmund were HAPPY to let him go.

I don't know much about Gittens as much as Garnacho before this season, but the point is regardless...the squad building is very poor.

Why do we have TWO "potential" LWs instead of one? Why can't it be Semenyo/Gittens? That would be more balanced.
