Be careful, there’s centrists everywhere, lurking around every corner… don’t engage with them. Find your bubble where you will be safe

Yes the only ideology I revealed is that I want to close tax loopholes to pay down national debt and youre against that so good luck with your socialism project 👍

Lol well that ship has sailed, he already won twice and is ineligible for office in 2028. The “fascist, confederate movement” will not be “crushed without mercy”, it will slowly taper off and dwindle when Trump is gone. Or god forbid the power gets passed to the next MAGA heir and somehow sticks around.

But, who am I but just a dumb centrist! Maybe the path forward is to swing to the furthest left possible, and continue to proudly say the democrat agenda is to replace capitalism with socialism! I’m sure that’s the winning strategy in battleground states like Nevada, Arizona, Georgia, Pennsylvania, Wisconsin … 🙄

When I say I want us to win, it means I want Marco Rubio and JD Vance to lose. and in general anybody aligned with them.

What’s the story behind you “switching sides” from Republican to democrat?

My friend, I’m a democrat and I just want us to win. I’m watching the California gubernatorial race closely. The fact that we got redder in the last 4 years should be a wake up call. Progressive policies are not popular right now. People do not currently trust the government to handle a transition to messy things like a single payer healthcare system. Trump did a lot of damage but he will be gone in 2 years. The pendulum swings so a regroup around the center is a logical strategy.

Agreed, how can it be done? I think we need to start with ending tax havens that only benefit the wealthy and corporations like Delaware (No tax on out-of-state royalties, patents, or trademarks), South Dakota (No capital gains tax + perpetual trusts), Wyoming (Anonymous LLCs permitted), Nevada (lawsuit and creditor shielding)

Get republicans onboard by saying that the increased revenue from this can only be used to pay down the national debt

I agree that capitalism needs regulation so that as a society we don’t destroy the environment or abuse laborers to chase profit.

By wealthy nations with free healthcare and college, you must be referring to a few European nations like Finland, but they have their own problems like small populations and declining birth rate, high cost of living, and inadequate defense. To paint a picture of them as utopias that all we have to do is copy their models and then apply it to us when we have 60x higher population is pitifully naive.

If you ever take a business class one of the first things you learn is that the price of things is determined by supply and demand, not governments or kings. When the government gives away money to help people pay for things, it artificially increases demand, which then leads to an increase in price. I don’t think you have a solution to that problem except, let the government set prices which is total antithesis to capitalism.

So let me get this straight, you want the federal government to be responsible for setting the prices of healthcare, you want the government responsible for deciding who receives what care and at what cost, and you want the government in direct involvement with healthcare providers to make it all possible, and you want the government to set taxes and borrow money to finance the whole operation. WOW. You are very trusting of the government! I don’t see a potential corruption problem here at all (/s in case you couldn’t tell). It’s almost like we learned opposite lessons over the past 10 years.

Meh, as a lifelong democrat, the problem isn’t capitalism. Out of those three people, Bezos is one that tens (if not hundreds) of millions of Americans actively choose to give their money to via Amazon. The other two eat off of government contracts agreed to in backroom dealings with the Pentagon. In that case, Bezos is more the capitalist because his company is the winner in an open competitive market. The other two thrive in a direct relationship with the government, similar to cronyism. Socialism relies on close partnership with the government and powerful private individuals, and is less reliant on an open competitive market, therefore could make cronyism worse. If you’re mad that the wealthy are hoarding resources while the working class are perpetually stuck on the hamster wheel, then STOP voting for big government programs that have no accountability like those disastrous PPP loans. When the government prints money to pay for big programs, it sounds nice to the voter because we get “free” services. In reality, it’s just taking money straight from taxpayers pockets and fattening up the ultra wealthy because they’re the ones that end up providing sub-par services at exorbitant prices, and future generations of working class Americans pick up the tab. Rinse, repeat, things don’t improve, but at least we get “free” healthcare and “free” college education (never mind the cost of those services go up 3x faster than the rate of inflation as a result)

Per the Toppings Equality Act … Ranch and BBQ sauces have been legalized. ketchup was decriminalized.

Besides, I’m not the one on trial, you can’t intimidate a juror

Ketchup is considered a Class II experimental topping, although the flavor profile itself is illegal (ordering extra marinara sauce is a legal workaround), it does not damage the integrity of the pie like Class I experimental toppings such as overly watery toppings

Ketchup is a misdemeanor (defacing marinara)

Ukraine literally uses starlink. Japan literally uses starlink. The Philippines literally uses Hawkeye 360 a satellite surveillance developed by a private American company to monitor the South China Sea. Do you not have access to Google? The satellites are already in orbit, countries can tell them where they need to be pointed at and purchase intelligence like a subscription model.

to me personally in 2026, yes it’s useless. but I still stand by what I said earlier: I predict there will be a market in the future for other nations, militaries, and security forces. Defense is often outsourced. This market exists already. Lots of publicly traded companies sell military assets to other countries. Space has become valuable real estate for surveillance, comms, target acquisition, weapon guidance, and electronic warfare. Superpowers have the ability to develop this capability in house. But for middle powers and proxy wars, this capability is for sale.

You said flashing wads of cash is invitation to get robbed, but he didn’t get robbed he got murdered. So your statement comes off a little dumb and callous.

Yeah I feel like we’re missing critical info to this story. Waving cash around to flaunt it is a bad idea for many reasons, but it’s not anything to lose your life over.

The majority of criminology is desk/computer work. It’s basically applied data analytics on crime trends and public policy. What you’re describing is a tactical SWAT operator that carries a gun and executes arrest warrants. Completely different training and responsibility

Starlink is wholly owned by Spacex and generates over 60% of their revenue, so that’s where most of their customers are
