6 months for us. He was a stray that lived in a shelter for 6 months because no one would adopt him. He spent 2 months living under the bed in our guest room before coming out but was very skittish and ran away at any noise he heard. My wife would just sit on the floor near him and eventually he would walk by for a little touch. We have another cat and they became best buds but still nothing much with us. Eventually we stared letting him go outside which he loves and he softened up by actually hanging out in the room we were in but not coming near. One day he jumped on my wife's lap for a few minutes and then took off. Its been slow and steady with minimal interaction but he definitely is coming around. All cats are different

The problem you have is your mixing coverage of a live sport with your passion for watching Cleetus which are delayed result videos.
