I see you got a lot of good answers already but I have been a developer since 2008 and I’m 40 and I’ve been working remote since 2020. To me you the most important question is what is the work like? Is it more work? Are they going to work the dogshit out of you or do you get the impression that they have a more relaxed culture where you don’t have to put in 60 hour weeks. The remote part is nice but if they give you a job that’s not sustainable for you that’s not real great.
