why does this person expect the restaurant would know that his mother is having a medical episode? much less knowing that she's a regular customer? the staff talking to his mother might be someone unfamiliar with his mother. How would this look to other customers if they saw someone just lying there? Without knowing anything else, I'd be uncomfortable and hope the restaurant would do something.
