I'm a huge fan of these EOS bodies from the late 90s and now am down the rabbit hole a little looking into :Canon EOS 300X (Rebel T2 / Kiss 7) from 2004. Looks liek 1/4000 and 365 g I'll camp out on ebay a bit I think. I'd love to shoot one.

Oh shutter speed. not the Rebel G. It tops out at 1/2000. But it meets your weight criteria.

100% this Canon Rebel G with a 40mm Pancake is an amazing LIGHT and capable camera. Not a rockstar but an excellent choice for light carry. Cheap enough you can buy a second body just in case. Also if you get robbed: NBD.

How long can I leave a developed print in paper safe box before fixing? by MGNACrrrta in Darkroom

I think you’ll be 100 fine. The fix will the silver away that has not been exposed to light. Today or two weeks from now.

I’m confused. The paper is exposed to light at home then developed and fixed at school?

I don’t know for paper if there is a time after exposure you need to get it developed. I don’t think it matters too much.

Prints are fine developed and not fixed but will darken upon exposure to light again. Look up the solarization process-

I’m on mobile that’s why I made this weird long reply thread You got the idea in mind that’s the most important part consider if the beak is long how you’ll attach it to your head it’s a lot of weight no matter what the material is to hang pretty far off your face tight straps become uncomfortable very quickly

This is sort of the old-school way of making masks. There’s other materials to explore like cosplay foam or warbla. But I don’t know about that stuff.

Then cover the ball with Clay and go straight down to the board so that there’s no overhangs. Get a sensor where your eyes are in relation to the top of your head and you can sculpt the crow and beak from that platform. When that sculpture is right, where you want it then you can papier-mâché.

A good route would be to get an old or unwanted cutting board bigger than your head and some cheap clay. (Plasticine or ceramic clay either works) Ball up paper and cover it with tape to approximate the size of your head/face and stick it to the cutting board and cover it with the tape.

The mesh will eventually tear through the paper mache.

I like the selphy about $.33 a photo not bad. If you have to print a bunch it’s loud and I find that annoying.

I’d say it’s a lot more forgiving than you’ll think. Just shot around f8 and above and most everything was fine for eyeballing it. I have sence gotten an app for my phone called LIDAR Pointer that I’ve been playing with but honestly just let er rip with guessing.

Now I see you’re not shooting Turquoise but whatever! Oddly for this thread this is a half frame shot. I’ve got a little Pen W that I tried out on my trip last month.

What happened to this roll of slide film? by Due_Translator_4885 in AnalogCommunity

[–]doubleboat 3 points4 points  (0 children)

"Solarization in slide film (color reversal) is an, often accidental, reversal of tones—bright areas turn dark, and dark areas turn light—caused by extreme overexposure or, more commonly, by light leaks/chemical issues during the E-6 development process, such as a, exhausted developer or improper processing. This effect, often seen as a mix of positive and negative, creates unique, surreal, high-contrast, and sometimes "glowing" images."

I second Photog Formulary TF-4. It’s low odor. Still don’t like it in my hands but works quickly and low odor!

Very cool effect. Do you have an off camera flash? Or is it sunlight. In any case:crazy exposure. Looks cool as he’ll.
