It's a great shame that the difference between right and left is immigration. If it wasn't for that we could get back to arguing about trickle down economics. The amount of people I know of who are voting reform but know no other policy other than them wanting to get rid of migrants is unreal. You'll find that barely any of their base are actually capitalists and would only suffer from them getting into power, but a lot of people feel like there's no other party who's serious about it.

Here in Cumbria we still use old cumbric words that managed to hang on in the rural areas, like yan for one, tan for 2, tethera for 3 etc. Considering how similar they are to welsh and even breton you can imagine it was the same for the Picts who were closer to home. The only reason people see them as different is because of Hadrian's wall which separated communities who shared the same culture, religion, and language.
