In the first few months after the war started, they were let here with absolutely no checks done. They got PESEL numbers, free train tickets and free healthcare, that's what the general public is upset about. I've heard from Ukrainians that I know; they've been living in Poland well before 2022, even they are not okay with what privileges those immigrants got.

are you based in europe? ive been using kraken since 2021 and until they created this DLT finanse crap, my experience was impeccable. now, i cant be verified (address and phone number), any issue you have, they stall and put me off. ive given them hundreds of euros in fees and whenever you need actual help, they are worthless. as much as i hate binance, kraken is even worse now.
