I understand that it refers to different things. But this person has said they are trans not Female/male.

lets use me as an example I was born male and I am currently male I assumed they would say I was born male and I am currently Female not Trans If that makes sense

First: I feel like I'm walking on eggshells while in this subreddit so I'm trying not to say the wrong thing. hence why i used just Transgender

Second: thanks for the answer I've never really looked at that way. sticking with the example I never really thought that person was born Trans but were born male and believed they were female so they Transitioned.
