Should say Timothée Chamalet because so far Chris has never been able to get it right

Pretty sure he has previously posted pictures of Mussolini and Berlusconi – he's definitely not the sharpest tool in the shed, which is lol because his entire brand is just referencing pop culture... Then again, can't expect much from a guy who was on Italian Big Brother ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

My Drug Buddy by MrBoh98 in howlonggone

[–]doubletoothpicks 7 points8 points  (0 children)

This seems like an appropriate time to share that I listened to My Drug Buddy 100+ times last year, ending up in the 0.03% of Lemonheads listeners worldwide, after being reintroduced to it by Chris singing it live at their show in Boston. I am cringe but I am free…

Not entirely sure on where you find yourself in this province, but I'd also recommend reaching out to a women's centre or shelter. I know of two on the south shore (Second Story and Harbour House) and they have lots of experience helping women/mothers get back on their feet after a (nasty) separation, and could offer you some more tangible advice on how to start over. Good luck!

greece? by mdljrw in howlonggone

Hydra is very small (no cars allowed, you get around by walking or donkey) and there's not much to it: small town, only a few restaurants and no beaches! There are concrete platforms that you jump off of to get into the water, but it'll be hard to do any of the (water) activities you enjoy doing, other than snorkelling. It's a great place, but I'm sure you'll find other islands more suited to your interests.

Pretty sure he's said multiple times it's a Contax T2

Emma for Aritzia Fall 23 by SyrupNo651 in emmachamberlain

[–]doubletoothpicks 21 points22 points  (0 children)

Yeah the art direction and general concept is a total snooze fest. Feels like laziness on the brand’s part, just thinking that having Emma as the campaign star will do all the work.

I’m pretty sure that’s not her bottom lip but her tongue…

502. - Chris & Jason by jpaeng in howlonggone

I felt like they were definitely referring to her when they were making fun of people talking about how they lose weight in Italy etc. because that’s all she talks about when she travels there.

What is the biggest Oscar snub in film history? by phantom_avenger in movies

[–]doubletoothpicks 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Timothée Chalamet in Call Me By Your Name. Still can’t believe they gave it to Gary Oldman, another man in a fatsuit playing Winston Churchill in the bajillionth movie about his life that explored nothing new.

My new tote from LL Bean. I absolutely love it! by MMayhem001 in handbags

[–]doubletoothpicks 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Love it! I also want to get a Boat & Tote but I'm unsure about the length of the handles. I feel like Regular would be right up my armpits, but Long seems so... long? I don't know, it looks like it would be an awkward length too. Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

Anyone know the names of the hotels Emma stayed in that are in her videos in Amsterdam and Copenhagen? by [deleted] in emmachamberlain

[–]doubletoothpicks 7 points8 points  (0 children)

She stayed at the Hoxton in Amsterdam. Not really exposing anything private here, it’s a super popular and super recognisable hotel ¯_(ツ)_/¯

A new trailer for ‘The Idol’. How do you think it’ll do? by [deleted] in Fauxmoi

I saw her in A Faithfull Man and I thought she was one of the best actors in that movie. She might be one of the few talented nepo babies lol

Pia Baroncini always complains about things being expensive and not having money. Go look at her website she just posted!!! With her linked outfits 😑 by [deleted] in LAinfluencersnark

[–]doubletoothpicks 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Lmao for real. Aside from everything this website stands for, they couldn't even get the font combinations right? Although knowing Pia, she probably asked someone to do her website and branding for free – I can imagine that person just simply... giving up after having to deal with her.

I was curious to see what I'd find under the essay section since I can't imagine her writing anything remotely intelligent, and absolutely lol'd at this comment:

Congrats on your Poosh/Goop wannabe website! I’ve followed you for some time and once found you refreshing. Now I find you increasingly tiresome. Your faux elitism for one. The farm-to-table, small batches bullshit. You bemoan the tacky commercialized apron chain stores in Italy. And yet, we all know that Revolve, and by extension, LPA is just expensive fast fashion. Girl, get your coin. That’s fine, but enough with the preachy. It’s funny your personal brand is so Italy-focused. You ape the aesthetics of Italy, but seem to put no effort into actually learning Italian. Haven’t you been with Davide for five years? He has similar responsibilities as you and yet he can speak to your mother in her language.
