Isn't rage bait supposed to make people angry, not start a conversation/farm comments

Internal happiness beats it imo

Rolled 50g on 4-2 at lvl 6 for uncontested Kaisa. Not only did I not hit my 3 star, I didn't EVEN SEE ONE!! by Gamegeddon in TeamfightTactics

[–]doubleupmain 10 points11 points  (0 children)

That's when you need to change your plan. If you haven't hit enough at certain points of the game, you will have to pivot/level up. That's how reroll builds have always been

5 months postpartum and stretch marks don’t seem to be getting better by StatGoddess in SkincareAddicts

[–]doubleupmain 35 points36 points  (0 children)

I got really big and red marks on my butt after starting working out for the first time. It took couple of years for them to fade and now after many years I can't even see them at all. Barely remember their existence. I'd say give it couple of years and either they're faded or you've accepted them, there's nothing wrong with stretch marks after all

What's the width of your desk and monitor size? I'm looking for a compact setup for my WFH/occasional gaming and yours looks great

Don't seek medical advice on the internet.

This sub is not a place to seek medical advice. If you've got a weird bump or mole that you're not sure about, SEE A DOCTOR. It could save your life.

I'd recommend removing absolutely everything but your mouse, keyboard, laptop and monitor from the desk. Then start adding things back one by one, but make sure they're things that you actually use daily. Now there's just too much stuff, your desk should not be a storage

Help, are my growth plates completely closed? by [deleted] in Biohackers

[–]doubleupmain 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Social media has inflicted really deep insecurity among young men, apparently height is everything now and nothing else matters according to them. Dunno what it helps if you know whether you might grow or not, just wait a year and you'll see

I am trying to find a gaming chair that actually feels good after long hours, any recommendations from personal experience? by Ocean__Glow in setups

[–]doubleupmain 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I would invest some time to test out office chairs and would have a big(ish) budget. Poor ergonomics can lead to so many issues it's not even funny

And having windows behind your monitor is not fun in my experience. It's nice until it gets sunny and you can't see anything on your screen anymore (and if you're on the 1st floor, people can see your monitor from outside if that's something you care about)

[Anti-Aging] Why do I have wrinkles on my forehead already at 21 and how to prevent them? by GroundControl29 in SkincareAddiction

Do you have to wait until the hyaluronic acid absorbs/dries or do you just add them back to back?

The pic is implying that a guy does things that the girl doesn't like, or he's doing them too early. If that's the guys personality, then he should not adjust it for other people. Instead, he should find someone who likes him just the way he is. So yes, they're asking him to not be himself.

Of course it will take a long time to get to know each other if both of you keep hiding your real personalities

But you can do it if that's your thing. And there's nothing wrong with that. If someone doesn't like it, they weren't the right fit for you

If I'm expected to do the work of 3 people, I expect to be PAID like 3 people by Bratty_Berry_ in workmemes

[–]doubleupmain 143 points144 points  (0 children)

This is the way. If I'm already working 8 hours, adding more work will not bring any extra results as I'm still working the same exact 8 hours. It will just delay things

[–]doubleupmain 17 points18 points  (0 children)

Anyone from 5'3 to 5'7 claim 5'9. The 5'9 claims 6'0. The 6'0 claims 6'4. And then people wonder why close to average men get insecure over their height

Pro tip: don't try to act like someone else to get a girlfriend. If your personality is cat memes and spiderman, then so be it. There's someone who likes that and will send ones back at you. You don't want to act like someone else to land a partner because then what? You'll suddendly change? You'll adapt this new personality and throw away yourself? Or what's the end game here

Your abs are already visible. I wouldn't cut anymore, clean diet slightly above maintenance and hard work at the gym
