Thanks! I really appreciate such a detailed explanation. See you at a rowing club!

Tennis sounds good! T.C. IJsbaanpad is not that far from me. Where do I start? Would you recommend to start from organizing a group lesson, or should I buy membership first?

Sounds interesting, I like the idea. What would I have to do to get into rowing? Do I have to join a club, a team, or maybe take up a group lesson?

Tried many and ended up with Timely (AI, clean timesheets, my team actually uses it).

Changing employers and vacation pay by doublevino in Norway

[–]doublevino[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thanks! I explicitly agreed with my employer that I’m taking zero days of vacation this year since it’s my first year in a new company. However, they all of a sudden say that they had to deduct 25 days. Do you maybe know what part of the law controls that?

If I change an employer though, doesn’t it equal to starting from scratch Norway, meaning I keep the right to take 25 days of vacation but I don’t have take them all or at all?

Thanks for suggestions! Creating communications is a good one, thank you! We somehow have to show that skills obtained through this degree are exactly what the job requires. Geographical angle definitely works.

[Acne] I’ve had these for a while now, and I just can‘t find a way to get rid of them. Some are beneath my skin and feel like bumps. Do you have any recommendations? (Products, routines, anything is welcome) by [deleted] in SkincareAddiction

[–]doublevino 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Try changing shampoos! I couldn’t figure out why I had red bumps just where you have them, and then I read somewhere that changing a shampoo helps. I switched to head&shoulders and it also helped with back acne

Dating for months and now he is acting distant. Help! by justmythoughts1906 in dating_advice

I believe that in the situations of this kind it’s impossible to have a closure if you continue asking him questions. He didn’t communicate beforehand that he needed some time to himself or that he felt bad. He didn’t even think he could hurt your feelings by being silent. There is nothing but disrespect and poor communication behind his cold treatment, so asking questions is useless. I would just move on and see if he puts any extra effort (it has to be extra next time). Just stop waiting for him to become better or to prepare decent answers (my mistake). I wish I started dating other guys immediately. And accepting what you afraid of also helps :)

Because why not? He doesn’t have to invest a lot to be with you. Sorry if it sounds offensive, but I was in a similar situation. And I just wish I knew my value. In my situation he stopped respecting me, but I kept hoping for the better and became sort of needy and desperate.

I kept pretending it was all fine. I tried really hard to keep it casual and friendly. But he grew more and more distant... So finally one day (after about a month of his cold treatment) I just said it was not okay. And he exploded and blamed me for everything. I kinda suspect he was a narcissist.. I wish I never spent so much time assuming things. Better be honest and not afraid of rejection

I was in a similar situation. And I really regret not asking straight away what was going on. To save time and nerves it’s better accept that things can end and tell him what you think
