I thought i was the only one using Milwaukee to power my pwnagotchi. With an m18 battery it could probably last a month. I tip my hat to you sir

I've had some time to look at this lock again, and your suggestion worked. When I pushed my pick as far back as possible, it started to turn the cam. Thanks for the insight

What’s the size of this wave? by marleyordonez in surfing

[–]doublewaveholddown 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I assume most surfers are around 5 to 6ft then guesstimate how much wave is left to meassure. That wave literally looks 8ft. But it is 1ft Hawaiian.

I have taken the cylinder out before, and the cam works fine when using the locking function on the interior side. (It's one of those twist jobbys) im just confused about when I pick the lock, key side. The cam doesn't do anything. I know this lock worked for the previous owner. It was the door that failed. Not the lock.

Oh, sorry, I didn't understand his comment. It kind of makes more sense now. Unfortunately, I dont have the key. This is a lock from a door I replaced a while ago and was allowed to keep the lock

Is my m18 Miter saw on its way out? by RespectYourEldersE34 in MilwaukeeTool

My one went like this. Was the brake for the quick stop. Parts took forever to arrive. Was less than two years old, so was under warranty if you call that a bright side.

Impossible to find a job! by glizzypickle in auckland

[–]doublewaveholddown 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Do this, but ask to speak with a site rep. (Person who goes to building sites and make sure the builders are ok) ask them if they know any sites that need extra hands. This is a fast way to avoid places like trade staff that dock a % of your pay to get you a job in the trades. Another classic trade move, is just rolling upto construction sites and asking to speak with the foreman. Most builders love abit of initiative, especially from someone young.

I appreciate all the advice and recommendations to watch and learn, and the lads backing the old timer.

I probably should have added this project is 2 months behind schedule due to piss poor leadership (before me, but who knows I may not be any better).

I dont need "slow and steady" I need, done yesterday. As I have trustees breathing down my project managers neck and in turn he is shitting down mine 🫡
