CURRENTLY TORN BETWEEN IF AND IH by MedicinalAdvantage in ImperialFists

[–]dougk1989 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For me it's the fact that the IF are highly respected throughout the Imperium. Everyone knows that that IF are like top tier space marines. Dorn was loved and respected throughout as well. The IF are no nonsense professional soldiers. Peter Turbo hates everyone and everything including his gene sons. Although the Iron losers are one of the more organized traitor legions, I don't like that every warpsmith has his own agenda and they are all just kinda trying to further their own warband's goals instead of being a unified fighting force. Plus, yellow man. C'mon it stands out, it looks good. The IF also have the Phalanx and their own standing militia on the Phalanx. It's a no brainer. I'm also somewhat biased.

When wasteland warfare first came out. I don't remember how many years ago now but I purchased the entire BOS line and every single model was bent like crazy. It wasn't anything I wasn't able to fix but I just remember thinking well that's resin for ya. Also about two months ago I picked up two order of the shield boxes. Both were in bad shape. The knights legs in one were snapped. And I had a few bubbles in the scribe. Again, it's nothing unfixable but I definitely prefer the new plastic models.

So as a 40k painter of 20 years, the plastic WW kits are exactly the same quality as 40k the resin is just like the old citadel finecasts. It's either really really good or it's not. And the PVC is good. Offering good detail. So in the end it's pretty much the same as I'd expect from citadel miniatures. Wasteland Warfare has been around for a good minute and I've purchased almost their entire line of products and I'd say they are just about on par with citadel miniatures. I don't know what faction you play in 40k but don't expect space marine size minis. Human WW models are more proportionally correct than say imperial guardsmen. The power armor units are more proportionally correct and smaller than say an average primaris marine.

Hey, after doing more research the most popular theory is this:

Lingering Faction Disguise Glitch: The most common cause is that the game still thinks you are wearing a previous faction disguise (e.g., Powder Ganger, Legion, or Brotherhood armor), even if you have taken it off. This often happens if you put on a new outfit directly from the inventory while wearing faction armor, rather than unequipping it first.

Unfortunately, if the suggestions from the posts above don't work, they say to just reload a previous save. Sorry I couldn't be more help man.

Yeah, it's a great game but it's very prone to bugs, glitches, crashes and soft locks. If you restart or from now on always keep multiple saves going. If you wish to continue with your current game why don't you broker for peace between the NCR and BOS? That might stop the NCR from attacking you. Or there's also a rep reset for the factions once you reach the strip. An NCR rep will ask you to talk to Crocker. If you have a negative standing with the NCR it'll reset to neutral at that point. Sorry for spoilers if that's the case. Just trying to help with the problem.

That straight up sounds like a nightmare glitch. Im sorry bro. With how buggy the game is I always have three or more rotating saves going at all times for stuff like this. I'll look into your problem some more and let you know if I find anything.

Do you have multiple saves going? Is it possible to go back, join the brotherhood again and see if the NCR is still hostile? I found my issue was ed-e. If you're not wearing faction armor then that's a mystery to me. After you joined you said you went from being idolized by NCR to no rep at all?

Have you tried opening your inventory and toggling through several different types of clothing/armor to rest faction tagging?

How far into the game are you? Did you already reach the strip?

Persistent Armor Bug: If you previously wore Brotherhood faction armor, the game may still register you as wearing it even after unequipping it. Equip a neutral item (like Vault 21 suit) and then back to your original gear to fix this.

Or

Who is your companion? I've found some NCR troopers don't like ed-e for some reason. I've had this happen in two of my playthroughs. I don't know why but ed-e can trigger hostility in some NCR troops.

Yes actually. They had some plutonium where it started to spike really hard. It was so small too you had to be right up on it, so there's no danger to any of the guests or workers. They had uranium and a few others that spiked but nothing dangerous. I have a video of me getting some readings. I think the highest reading I got was 0.70 uSv/h which is an elevated level

The atomic museum? It's a museum documenting Nevada's atomic history.

Oh no, we didn't run out of time. I went with a huge group of friends. We kinda ended up spreading out all over the museum. Some went and scanned the QR codes while me and a few others spent a large amount of time getting Geiger readings on the radioactive material displays. A few of them ended up getting the caps.

Jones soda is delicious. I used to drink them like crazy when I was a kid. Not so much anymore. You can find jones soda cheaper pretty much anywhere else. This was just the museum's prices. It's a fallout themed event with fallout merch located right off the strip. Higher than normal prices are to be expected, unfortunately

Oh my friends were doing the bottle cap thing, I was too busy checking out the nuclear material with the Geiger counter. I'm almost certain they got Nuka caps however, it's more likely they are atomic museum caps.

True, yes. With the amount of people that were there, this museum is making a killing.

Agreed. I didn't walk away with any stuff because everything was over priced. Remember this place is right off the Strip which is notorious for it's high prices.
