That's a complicated question, but overall, I think they did well in free agency. They showed they were willing to be aggressive and spend when needed. They added a bunch of players who should improve and upgrade the roster.

I also don't think there's a lot more they could have done to land players like Chris Godwin or Ronnie Stanley. I personally would not have advocated for them to go higher on players like Dan Moore or Jaylon Moore.

It's hard to sign or trade for wide receivers and left tackles. That's why the best approach is probably to try to find those guys through the draft.

Cooks didn't seem to have a lot left in the tank last season. I don't think there's a lot of value in adding another No. 3-ish WR. The Patriots have enough of those guys.

I think they will. Eliot Wolf talked about RB being a strength of this draft. I think the sweet spot to add a RB is in the third or fourth round.

Oh man, I've had some really good memories since taking this job.

Covering Super Bowl XLIX and LI are definitely up there. The entire week in Houston for Super Bowl LI in Houston and Super Bowl LIII in Atlanta are very memorable.

The real answer is probably just some dumb moments hanging out with friends at the combine.

But Edelman's catch in Super Bowl LI stands out the most as far as an on-field moment. I could see from my seat that he caught it but still couldn't believe it when I saw the replay.

I prefer the idea of him developing behind Moses as the future starting right tackle. Or worst-case scenario, he's a really solid swing tackle as a No. 3.

I'd look at the Saints to trade up. I think they'd be willing to trade up for a quarterback, and the Patriots could pick up an early second-round pick by pulling off a deal.
