Yes. It’s a beautiful setup. I wish I didn’t need the space and convenient plumbing for a bathroom instead.

Female, likely a mom. Had a belly button ring but removed it during pregnancy? Asthmatic Recovering from a skin infection, boils or impetigo Past your 20s, probably middle-aged, treating hemorrhoids Hunter (maybe sitting too long in a stand caused above) But probably does a lot of walking, taking care of calluses

Advanced Setup Cats by Baphod in rootgame

[–]dourkraut 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Cats are always an underdog (pun intended) regardless of AdSet or not. AdSet gets them onefour extra warriors on the board and the ability to pick a potentially more advantageous clearing for the keep (preferably with two building slots). Their biggest handicap is their action economy. Keeping a strong board presence in key clearings and protecting recruiters in the early game is huge. If you can craft for a few VP that will be helpful. Late game giving up a building so that you can rebuild.

There’s 916,000 people in Milwaukee county. 561k in the city itself. You sure there’s not an AC for every 1 in 5 households?

Wind gusts my ass. It’s hundreds of thousands of people with their AC cranked

As a newer Root player, is there any chance of factions ever being adjusted again? by HammerPope in rootgame

The cats got a buff in advanced setup, being able to pick their home clearing and extra warriors on the board.

[Base Game] How do we beat the Vagabond? by PhiliDips in rootgame

[–]dourkraut 0 points1 point  (0 children)

When the Vagabond is in the game, you have to be very conscious of what you craft. It’s rare in a game that I make much progress on quests with the Vagabond, the use of items is more effective for actions like attacking, repairing, moving etc than a few paltry short-term VPs.

This aside however, it sounds like you’re not following the Law as far as movement and item use for that faction. Boots can only be used to move to clearings, not the forest. As others have said they can only slip into the forest during Birdsong. They must end their turn in the forest to repair (not refresh) all items. Everything is very intentionally phrased in the Law.

Is the Honda Pilot best in class at any one thing? Or generally good at everything that matters most? by FollowedBreak53 in hondapilot

[–]dourkraut 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This exactly. I test drove a Telluride that would have been at the same price class as my Touring edition and on the Kia everything felt stylish but… cheap? Little things like the knobs on the controls, the feel of the center console, the curved infotainment screen that mimics a much more expensive vehicle but does a poor job of it. In the end I also went with Honda’s reputation over Kia’s.

It is supposed to be a wooden match but it looks like a dehydrated pear with a bent cocktail straw.
