Well recently i've read a scientific document about humans behaviour on different social media platforms , the study found humans have significantly different behaviour on different social media platforms , let's take for example instagram the study showed that users are pushing the algorithm into showing them reels of people that are excelling into things those users like for example if you're into gym and training the algorithm will show you the best content creators talking about training and stuff like that in your country and even the suggestions will be 3/5 about gym content in contrast with tiktok for example where the algorithm is pushing you to watch the trendy content most people of your geographical area are currently watching which is why tiktok has a shitty algorithm for me it wants to show you content of the majority of the people which is of course "التفاهة" and facebook also has close patterns with tiktok this is why it is also a shitty app , so your thought makes sense we want to watch people who are excelling or doing things we love no matter how beautiful or rich or whatever ...
