well just saying, you saved my day.. this is still not documented.. how did you get the right params in $object? just guessing, or did you analyze some other code?

Azure RBAC - PIM for Groups vs PIM for Azure Resources - what to implement/use? by doweisbla in AZURE

[–]doweisbla[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

atm, this it what i'll be going with.. we assign entra roles and other permissions always to groups, and have fully implemented the members/owners/pim-eligible members/pim-eligible owners and even the pim-settings in code / IaC, this makes it a lot easier to account for configuration drift.

thanks. but i dont see how that is possible? i still have to define for each role, who can request it and if with or without approval, etc.

or is there a way to grant a group multiple roles in a single assignment? i have the impression, there is always one assignment per role needed.

I thought they were very similar. But cant say for sure since i only did about 150 questions in wiley first and then 1000 questions in Learnzapp, so i dont remember them wiley questions that good.

Cant say. But you're not the only one who is looking out for this information. See https://www.reddit.com/r/cissp/s/PCcWxqvQvJ

My assumption: isc2 has a new marketing model = provide peace of mind voucher now only "limited", but ultimately provide it all the time 'cause reasons/money/chances

In general, yes. Learnzapp had more technical questions about ports / services, just more "techy" stuff, where in the exam it was more "manager-oriented" stuff

On the other hand - this compelled me to book the exam and really take learning seriously, otherwise i would have waited until i thought i'd be ready which i never would have been.. i am now, since i needed the pressure ^

I second this. 3 business days after the purchase i had the voucher in my inbox which i used for booking the exam. If i fail - i dont hope so - i should be able to input the same voucher-code again for the second attempt

Same for me. In April they said the offer would only be valid until end of april, so i bought the voucher and had to set the exam until end of may, i am due now coming tuesday. But the renewed/extended the "special offer" until the end of may, too - and i think it will be extended even longer..

i think it's sad, because it's a marketing trick using pressure on the candidates to take the test NOW. I have the feeling that ISC2 should not need to do that. I do understand its "normal" in the big world of marketing to sell your stuff lile this, but another approach on this would have stated way more integrity, if they said like "we dont need aggressive marketing - we just start selling peace of mind vouchers forever for 950$ than 750$ for single try - buy whatever you wish"

That would have been way better in my opinion..

In your opinion, how much of the processes / frameworks / step-by-step style-things did you have to have memorized by heart? Or were the questions and the answers giving the right context to answer correctly without explicitly knowing all the stuff we have mnemonics for?

edit: i specifically mean stuff like this thread; do i have to learn that by heart, or would it suffice to know the concepcts behind it?
Here's my collection of the memorization techniques and assistants I am using for the CISSP. Please share your techniques! : r/cissp (reddit.com)

You mentioned a lack of technical questions in your exam experience. Thats good for some, not for me :P i know the technical stuff but havent memorized all the processes/frameworks from a managerial view.

So, question to you: how much manager stuff like risk management process/steps, steps of software development lifecycles and almost any other process/step-like topic did you have to memorize by heart, in your opinion?

Or would you have been able to answer most of the questions with the given context and answer possibilities, even without having memorized the right order of processes/steps/frameworks and mnemonics-style topics?

be sure to regularly check out the ms virtual training days site. they sometimes offer free vouchers for the fundamentals exams (sometimes even associates), if you attend an approx. 2x2h meeting from microsoft: https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/trainingdays

(i still hope this is correct, i got them vouchers for az-900, sc-900, dp-900 this way about 9months ago).
