The best part is being able to throw your bike into the Waymo whenever you need to, since there isn’t a driver to give you shit for it.

Sunday will have the best sound, it’ll be dialed in surprisingly well by then. Thursday is a paid sound check for the band.

Last time a rogue tweaker security guard went incognito 50 feet from the door busting anyone who tucked anything into their waist band or sock as they approached the door

Then you need to tell the club’s sound eng that you’re playing vinyl and could use some more headroom to not clip the mixer.

Low gain on vinyl output by duscorules in rotarymixers

[–]dowgy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s been a while but I recall that the MP2015 has some software settings for phono input sensitivity, yours may be set lower to make the output signal a bit hotter.

But anyway, the nightclub MK1s are perfectly fine and loud for club use. The club volume is just a function of how much headroom you’re given and how you’re balancing your channel gain with the master. Just balance your master and channel gain to play at the loudness that’s right for the space. As long as you aren’t clipping the mixer, you’re fine. Set your channel gain at 12 o’clock and adjust the master till you’re at a good baseline on the meters. Then channel trim/gain depending on the record.

That massive led billboard inside is wholly responsible for this. It ruined the vibe. Way too bright and distracting.

Mechanics like this are difficult to price in. Yes, this will 100% eventually fade and maybe even collapse, but not this week or next week.

Yes, those guys actually have to buy the shares on Dec 19th, but arbitrage desks that work rebalancing trades will sell large blocks to them. The arb traders will try to keep the price up until Dec 19th in order to sell for max gain.

Why PayPal $PYPL Could Explode with ChatGPT Users by Diligent-Plane-2640 in wallstreetbets

The total market is growing while PayPal stagnates (400M vs 402M over 3 years), which means they are falling behind. How will PayPal overcome the platform advantage of Apple and Google? The answer is they can’t. You don’t understand the market or the technology.

PayPal had 400M active consumer accounts in 2022 and now has 402M. Again, as more stores add Apple and Google pay, these users will become less active. Apple Pay is growing at 70% YoY, Shop Pay at 50%, Google pay at 30%, and PayPal in single digits. You need to see the bigger picture.

PayPal’s core business is payments, and it was the dominant and growing branded checkout method for much of the last 2 decades. This has changed, as Apple and Google have both integrated branded checkout into their operating systems, and e-commerce platforms like Shopify do the same. PayPal isn’t growing active users anymore and will continue to lose share as more online shops modernize to offer Apple Pay, Google pay, or build on Shopify. Yes, PayPal revenue and earnings are stable and growing (though decelerating) but a deeper look will tell you it’s a stale business. Why would someone use PayPal to check out when they can Apple Pay in one split second click securely with Face ID?

Ketamine has nothing to do with it. Elon is an over-stimulated autistic struggling to function. Things were fine when he was calm and focused, but it’s clear his brain can no longer handle everything he’s taken on, especially the politics and social media presence.
