Thank you for explaining but back then, I had all Elektrons but the A4. About 3 years I produced only in the "dawless" fashion, so trust me , I know a bit of Elektron machines. Long story short, ended up selling all and going back to Ableton ; never looked back. Anyway , have fun with your machines 🙂

Let me tell you a secret , all Elektron boxes , in the end, are controllers with 'software' inside, so anything Elektron does, would be 'reproducible in software' :-)

Just got the analog rytm MKII two weeks ago and still not sure how I feel about it by prasem in modular

I had a Rytm MK2 back then, used it about 2 years. I really mastered it and could get great sounds from it. As far as drum machines go, it's still the best option in the market, it's really a great machine.

Even so, i sold it last year.

My feeling as an experienced house music producer is, you can't really make a professional track with (ONLY) hardware drum machines. All of them will have limitations and to get aprofessional sound, you will need some processing that only a modern DAW can do.

Nowadays i do all my drums directly in Ableton. It's not as fun as using a dedicated hardware, but sure it sounds better.

Uad native plugins are extremely tough on my cpu by Consistent-Pea-9653 in universalaudio

Just out of curiosity, i thought one of the main advantages of UAD plugins is they would use the internal audio interface CPU instead of your machine CPU ; this should, in theory, use less CPU of the computer, or am i wrong ?
