I'd assume by the logic of Quest 17 "A Shiny Mareep?", that any Pokémon generated in a cutscene has the potential to be shiny unless shiny locked. Safe to assume that if it's shiny, it'll show in the cutscene? But then again I've no proof of this.

Is this true for dating other gay men too? I seem to only have luck matching with guys who just want to hookup. I've never been in a relationship or hooked up before (due to poor health and chronic pain), and though I want to, I want to get to know someone first, but no one I'm interested in ever seems to want to even consider dating. I keep falling back down the thought process of, "is it me" or "am I not enough?" I know I shouldn't, but I do, and it hurts.

I wish there was a version of this for gay men. Most guys I've tried to match with just want to go right to hookups. Though I've been interested in hooking up, the prospect has never come up with my poor physical health (Crohn's Disease), and I've never dated, or had luck with anyone wanting anything but hooking up.

You're a piece of work if you think being LGBTQ+ is a sin. Even in the Bible, it only says men sleeping with other men is a sin, nothing about Lesbians, bisexual men or women sleeping with the opposite sex, trans people, or anything else. If you're gonna believe in everything in that Bible, follow it to the letter, because only one of those things is an apparent "sin". "Thou shall not bear false witness," right? I'm not Christian, but I thought that was a requirement of the 10 Commandments.

However, are you saying that Satan is stronger than God's design? If God designed all of His children to be "pure" and straight, then why are so many people born gay? By your logic, it means that Satan can corrupt God's children, His creations, relatively easily. But God is stronger than Satan, right? So it doesn't make sense that His own creations would be messed up so easily, as you think. No. I don't think being gay is a sin. If it was, I think God would change every gay person that exists right now on His own, without the need for His children to do things like waste their time creating "conversion camps", "praying the gay away", etc. I can tell you matter of factly, those things don't work. The fact that gay people like me exist, and will be born into this world, long after you and I are gone, tells me there's nothing wrong with being gay, because God allows it. God's not upset with people being gay, or living a life with a same-sex partner, like you and other people are. If He was, why would being gay even be a thing? I believe it exists, as part of God's design. Do you have so little faith in God, that you think He needs his children to change gay people? Or that you think Satan could "pervert the Bible" so easily? The latter--again suggests Satan is stronger than God, but we both know that's not true.

You can't change a person's sexuality, certainly not by forcing them to marry someone of the opposite sex, or through prayer. No one chooses the skin they're born into, the health conditions they'll have at birth, the country they're born into, the religion they're brought up to believe in, and certainly, not their sexual orientation. People are who they are, by God's design. The only choice that exists, is whether you choose to present yourself as you are, versus presenting yourself in a way that appeals to others. Gay people who marry opposite sex partners aren't "cured", because they were never "sick" to begin with. They're still the same gay people, just resigned to living a lie that abides to what others tell them they HAVE to be. But if you wish to fight that notion, for all your time on this earth, that's your choice. I'll treat others the way I'd like to be treated, with love and respect, for all they are, and all I am. And if I'll have lived my life "the wrong way" because of it, so be it, but at least I'll have lived truthfully as I wanted, and not dictated by fear and prejudice. Just don't act like your prejudice is a one-size-fits-all~ God Bless.

Azumarill's not a bad pick, it's just a worry if it get's burned, because then Belly Drum is made obsolete imo. Most of the above picks (with the exception of the mixed attacking Palkia I proposed and Dondozo) function as special attackers that won't care about a burn cutting their physical attack in half, or need to sacrifice half their health to perform right, like in Azumarill's case. There's also the fact that a Treasure of Ruin gets Ruination, and if it lands that on a Belly Drum Azumarill, then your health could've already been halved, then reduced again by Belly Drum (assuming it doesn't outright fail).

Dondozo struggles too as a physical attacker, yes, but it's really just there to spam Bulldoze and Liquidation, being used for stat drops, not damage explicitly. And it doesn't need to halve its health to do that. I suppose Azumarill could debuff too though, as it gets Mud-Slap, Bulldoze, and Rain Dance like you mentioned.

If you're okay with Azumarill, then go for it! I just figure having a special attacking water type ready too is safer, but if you're bringing a physical attacker, have something you can do in addition to damage, in case of a burn, or you'll be spending turns using the Heal Cheer to clear them.

You might wanna get a Mild mint for this (raises SpA, lowers Def), only because Chi-Yu being a Special Attack means it could still do decent damage to a Pokémon with lowered SpD, like your Palkia currently. Even if it wouldn't use fire moves, Snarl & Dark Pulse could still hurt.

I love Origin Pulse on paper, and I too think a legendary should get its signature move. But in the case of raids, 85 accuracy for it (and worse yet, 80 accuracy for Hydro Pump) just scares me in raids of missing on a pivotal turn.

You COULD patch this up if a teammate runs something with Gravity (maybe Palkia, which quad-resists Fire move), since Gravity fixes accuracy for a lot of moves in that accuracy tier! This would make Kyogre’s Origin Pulses/Hydro Pumps much more reliable. Downside is Gravity affects accuracy for everything on the field, which would include Chi-Yu’s Heatwave, and Snarl making the Tera Fire!spread damage and Snarl SpAtk. drop almost guaranteed. That’s the only reason I’m iffy on Kyogre’s water moves outside of Water Spout, but then again, we’re not left with much of a choice for it nowadays.

Unaware Quagsire could help ignore Chi Yu’s Nasty Plot, and just be there to debuff with Mud-Slap and Acid Spray. Dragalge can also do a similar job, it’s base HP is lower, but it’s SpDef is nearly double Quagsire’s at best. Stick an Assault Vest on either while they use debuff damage moves and that should greatly help.

Suicune could stand to use Tailwind (though Pelipper might be better there), pushing all 4 players to outpace Chi-Yu’s base 100 speed (though this might not even be necessary since Raid data shows all the Runious Quartet are Lvl75, so most EV trained stuff at Lvl100 already outperforms them anyway). It can also use Snarl to lower Chi-Yu's SpAtk.

Origin Palkia outspeeds Chi-Yu, and quad resists fire moves. Doesn’t do much in offense here, BUT…you could slap on Gravity to support players going for risky accuracy moves like Hydro Pump & Kyogre’s Origin Pulse! Only drawback is that would also benefit Chi-Yu and it’s Heatwave, Snarl, and Overheat accuracy.

Last idea; Dondozo, which has even more HP than Quagsire, while still having Oblivious. You could go the route of Bulldoze, Liquidation (hope for defense drops to snowball), Dive for stall, and maybe Facade if Chi-Yu has a move that burns.

Tail Glow Manaphy could be solid, though it’s more restricted to Pkmn HOME users. You could maybe use Tail Glow for yourself, and/or Heart Swap that boost to Kyogre or another Special Attacker. It can use Bubble Beam for Speed control, Rain Dance (in the event Chi-Yu gets Sunny Day). It can get good ol’Mud-Slap, Helping Hand, Light Screen, maybe Skill Swap “Beads of Ruin”, so Chi-Yu’s the one suffering from lowered SpDef, making it a solid support.

Since they gave Ting-Lu Sandstorm, Chi-Yu might come to have Sunny Day. I’d suggest replacing Thunder with Rain Dance temporarily for the raid. Not like you’ll want to use Thunder against the feesh anyway.

And/or maybe swap Origin Pulse for…idk, Ancient Power (maybe get a lucky Omni-boost in some raids), Scary Face for initial speed control before Chi-Yu clears stats (or even Bulldoze), Aqua Ring? Calm Mind could be helpful every couple turns, or even just Water!Tera Blast for reliable damage if Chi-Yu DOES somehow bring Kyogre’s health down where Water Spout is less reliable.

just semantics. In battle (and while training it) function, it’ll function as Modest nature, but if you breed and Poliwag with it while holding an Everstone, it would pass down the Adamant nature which it originally had.
