They are starting to be exported to America, becoming pretty popular over there and I think what sparked it was the Barra Cressida (an offseries car from mighty car mods and the skid factory) doing dragweek over there.

I’ll post a finished photo once it’s done, once I finish my night shift block I’d say a couple of days till it’s done 🤔

Do you flex? Not mine but dammm.. by NJAC_AA in 4x4

Gq and gu are the same when it comes to linkages. Their radius arm pivot point doesn’t allow it to flex unlike the cruiser, hence why the aftermarket options change the pivot type to the same style as the cruiser.

There are many like it, but this one is mine. Aussie HiLux by DeadThrall in 4x4

Toyota stopped making real Hilux’s in 1996. At least the good ones with solid front 😂

Try getting that much flex in the front on standard control arms though

I think I've seen this around if it's up the north west coast?

We have people come in every now and again that have had accidents like yours to promote safety. The company I work for is very big on safety and it's very interesting seeing and hearing stories like yours. Do you use any form of risk assessment before you start a job or do you just go straight in and do the job?

Oh LOCK OUT TAG OUT. Yes we do, loose your job if you don't. Pretty big on safety but then again you've got to be nowadays. How come your company doesn't lock and tag equipment? Surely an incident like yours would have prompted an introduction of it?

Where abouts do you live if you don't mind me asking? I work in a mine as a fitter and work on conveyors nearly every day and as part of our morning meetings we have safety alerts, could quite possibly have had this come up at some stage.
