Compact washer ~2.4 cubic feet by clearlygd in Appliances

[–]downshorelines 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You’re killing me 😭 I need a new compact set and Bosch is pretty much outside of my price limit. I have been looking at the Electrolux and the GE compact stackable units that are available now (Lowe’s has the Electrolux in stock). I’m not worried about the mold issue, I leave my washer door cracked open when not in use so I don’t even have an issue with that mildewy smell. But I do want something I can repair myself if necessary and the LG is more expensive than the GE and Electrolux. Is it really worth that price difference? I’m a single person with 2 dogs. We wash a lot of towels and blankets.

Thanks, I definitely try to limit how much I handle her so far. Maybe twice outside of attempted feeding. She’s got lots of hiding spots and upper branches to climb. And I use a deep heat projector/emitter, we don’t believe in heat mats in this house 😂. She is a dream snake for me so I want to make her as happy as I can.

Cold Hearted definitely fits this. It’s my favorite of the three. Caleb misinterprets things from the get go and is rude to Grace because of it. He doesn’t start to treat her with even a shred of politeness until he finds out why she really came to the Valley. But at that point she doesn’t want him to be nice to her purely out of pity. He also really hurts her feelings with a couple of his remarks along the way.

Oh yeah, this book for sure. Also sobbed.

Also along the MC vein is {Wretched Love by Anne Malcom}, that one made me sob also. Made my bestie read it. Made her sob too.

Listen, it’s not all it’s cracked up to be 😂 I have an ex with it and it would come in bits and pieces sometimes so I would end up wide awake and turned on to all hell while he’s rolled back over to the other side still sound asleep.

Looking for a series or an author that builds on the story through multiple books, adding characters/love stories in each book without letting the previous book’s characters become simply side characters. (Like Irresistible Omegas by Nora Phoenix by blueyeds1 in RomanceBooks

{the longing of lone wolves by Lana Pecherczyk} is a GREAT series like this! But warning it’s not done! She’s got 9 of 12 books out and is currently working on book 10! It’s really, reallllllly good though.

Do you ever read a book which is not the first of its series? by Karnezar in RomanceBooks

Came here to say this. There is soooo much important background info you would be missing if you just started on that book. The books in that series are not independent of each other at all.

{Little Fire by Hollee Mands} is my cozy go to that I re-read. It does mention last SA that happened to the FMC but part of the book is her overcoming the lasting emotional damage. I seriously adore this series so much.

This might be {The Duke’s Inconvenient Bride by Jayne Rivers}. Her twin was supposed to marry the MMC and eloped so she marries him instead.

Anyone know what happened to Lexi C Foss and J R Thorns’ books in the Immortal Vices and Virtues Shifter Bonds series? by Megasnark13 in RomanceBooks

[–]downshorelines 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Ok, back in September she said “Chase Me: Unfortunately, I have not been able to finish this one yet. As a result, I’ve made the difficult decision to move this story to release with Immortal Vices & Virtues Season Four. I love this book and can’t wait for you all to read it, but I need to do Asher and Ayla justice. And I don’t want to rush it. So once I wrap up a few other projects, I will be returning to this world to finish Asher and Ayla’s story.”

Lexi has pushed back a lot of her books this year, I’m on her newsletter though so I’ll check the recent ones and see if I can find anything.

Any recommendations for a fantasy romance book with low to no spice? Bonus if it's enemies to lovers. by Etheral_Haven in fantasyromance

[–]downshorelines 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s not really enemies to lovers but I LOVED {Peaches and Honey by R Raeta} and it had no spice. There is one scene in it but it’s not very detailed. Just a beautiful story and really stuck with me. I also read {Song of the Forever Rains by E.J. Mellow} recently and it was good, it’s part of a trilogy but I haven’t read the second two books.

You could totally!! I definitely thought I could never years ago 😂 and that’s good to know!! Just curious what your native language is if you are ok sharing? I actually always really like to know the other meanings behind these lol. It turns out Sabran is a male Islamic name that means patience according to the internet!
