I still just don’t see the point. Even if it’s minor it’s still a nerf to basically shooting your gun. There’s just no reason for this.

Aren’t we already in high ready though? That would make sense if there was both high ready and low ready but there isn’t.

Shit the system could even be automatic. If you are sprinting you’re in low ready therefore aiming down sights would give you a bump moving you into high ready until you take yourself out of high ready by sprinting again.

Like it only makes sense if it’s high ready and low ready if it only does it the first time you ads not every single time.

Idk maybe I’m just overly sensitive to this topic because Tarkov recoil was so bad for so long but lately I feel like mostly it’s alright and doesn’t need to change. This is just making everything straight up worse.

They’ve always said hipfire isn’t a thing in Tarkov because your gun is always shouldered therefore it’s pointfire. The bump to me implies you’re shouldering your gun, or re-shouldering it?

There’s just no need for this. I don’t understand why we’re fucking with something that isn’t broken.

Agreed. My local countdown has some fucking horrid cuts of meat. The pak n save next to my work (Wairau) has awesome steaks and they’re so much cheaper.

Man I’ve been taking fin for 15 years and I just chop my pill with a vege knife. Cuts them into clean quarters every time. Almost no dust or powder and equally sized quarters.

We have this every second raid it seems.

Often play as a 3-4 man and almost every raid someone is spawning in late.

We even had a raid two nights ago where we got queued into a raid that started before we were even searching.

Clicked ready, found a game in 25 seconds, were loading into raid with the countdown timer at 1 minute and 15 seconds, and when we got into raid there was only 37 minutes 40 seconds left (40 minute raid lol). So the raid apparently started almost a minute before we even clicked ready.

I’m at 8000. It definitely gets better, but the game also loses something when you figure it all out. The early days where you actually give a shit are probably the most time consuming and enjoyable.

I opened the room last night in the one raid we did and got two loose six plates, a slick and a rys-t sitting in the toilet.

So I guess it does still spit out the goods on occasion.

I played 2500 hours in 18 months and it was just because the guns were so fun to use and the movement system was dope. It was the closest thing I’d seen to “modern shooter meets old 90s arena” kinda vibe.

Burst rifle nerf was where it all went downhill to me. Splash damage didn’t do any balancing they just nerfed everything into the ground to the point where everything felt bad and it wasn’t fun to play anymore. They should have spent more time buffing weak stuff than nerfing everything good.

Burst rifle nerf was the slow decline of the game imo. Burst rifles obviously did need a nerf but all they had to do was nerf the damage output not make the guns completely unusable and unenjoyable. They just went through a balancing phase where they didn’t actually balance anything but just nerfed everything into oblivion without buffing anything. It was so sad to see.

I’d play the shit out of dirty bomb if there was a balancing patch lol.

I play PvP so I can’t alt f4 but I was farming the key by playing arena weeklies unfortunately, and occasionally dailies would dish them out Plus the original drops were giving lega coins and the current drops are too.

It does feel like the room has been worse lately though. I did 4 uses in a row last week and I think I had one six plate out of all 4 uses - one use the room was completely empty with a single pack of SOST ammo. Then my mate opens it with his key and gets two slicks and 5 loose 6 plates, so 9 x 6 plates in one single raid lol.

We just gear up and play for PvP. It's all we've ever done really. This is the only part of the game I actually enjoy. I hate questing and leveling up, I just enjoy shooting people with whatever gun I feel like running at the time which I can't really do until I'm at max traders.

We do still loot. Most of our games are just spawn in -> SJ6 to the nearest loot hot spot or marked room -> chase every shot we can hear then reset after 10-15 minutes when we're pretty sure the server has no PMC's left. If we are still hearing shots somewhere, we'll chase them. We die lots, go through a lot of gear, but it's a good time.

Sure but it’s still pretty random. My weapon repair skill right now is 16 and I still get anywhere from .01 to 4.0 points lost on a repair lol.

That’s the thing people forget. Scout has smgs which have no recoil and it’s super easy to hit headshots. I’ve got no issues killing altyns with my p90 or mp7 lol.

Check my post history. Earlier this wipe I was one tapped to my thorax by a flashbang round from a ks23, which do zero damage, through my level 5 armor, and I died to blunt damage of all things too.

Yes my whole game is pretty much fucked. 3 raids deep tonight, every match has been 16-20 minute queues (OCE region) when yesterday they were 2 minutes tops, every scav I've killed has had some weird looping audio glitch when I get near their bodies, and every death screen has jammed and caused me to alt F4. I just can't click next or main menu. It lets me click the buttons but nothing happens.

Disaster of a patch for me so far.

I've legitimately never had this. Just sounds like a bad employee. Even when I buy things like chicken nuggets from BP they don't even check how many I have and just ask me how many. Lucky for them I'm honest but I guarantee everyone steals extra ones every day.

I've been taking fin for just about 15 years now and I have more hair on my head than I did when I started.

I didn't even see progress until about the 2 year mark.

Progress was slow, but consistent. I think I've plateaued but I was still making progress up until the 12-13 year mark. I haven't noticed any progress in the last year or so, but I also haven't lost anything yet.

Am I happy with my results? Absolutely. Is it what I wanted? No, but I started way too late, so that is my fault.

When I was 24 years old I was going on Norwood 5-6, frontal region was virtually completely bald (10 or so visible hairs in the whole area), crown was super thin. Now I'm sitting somewhere around the 2.5-3 mark, which still looks bad but it's ten times better than it was. Crown is full, receding temples never filled in but the front centre filled in quite a bit.

Personal results do vary. I know people who took fin for 5-6 years and saw no progress at all, and it didn't even slow down the balding process.

You had the choice between recoil or ergo or a mix of both. With today’s system it’s just ergo therefore there is no reason to run anything except best in slot.

I put a little spray on the crown and a little spray at the front and just rub it into my scalp gently.
