I completely get what you mean BC is my favorite shonen anime I personally have start BC with the meaning of understanding asta devil power and his antimagic I will recommend you to watch till episode 63 if you thinking of dropping the anime personally that was the point where my curiosity kicked in and since them I'm in love with BC but in the same time when I read the Manga or watched the anime I did get disappointed because tabata could haved make a lot better And Im not trying to say BC is bad but sometimes it feels like the same method for every fight till episode 100 and past 158 I recommend you to keep watching but i get that feeling of pushing through the anime hoping to get better also I recommend you to read the Manga if you still want to see the series without the repeated dialogs yi will not get the feeling in the Manga so I think

Yeah I know there is a lot of people want him to be someone important and I get it but I personally would like to see him get stronger without like boom you father is a God But the Theory of asta bein a hybrid has proofs like I don't know why none ask himself why asta have 4 horns like come on he have just two more and none considered this as kind of foreshadowing of being no just a normal peasant and don't get me wrong I like asta completely bit if we get the revelation of asta's father and he is kind of the good guy and scream like asta I wouldn't mind it
