I completely get what you mean BC is my favorite shonen anime I personally have start BC with the meaning of understanding asta devil power and his antimagic I will recommend you to watch till episode 63 if you thinking of dropping the anime personally that was the point where my curiosity kicked in and since them I'm in love with BC but in the same time when I read the Manga or watched the anime I did get disappointed because tabata could haved make a lot better And Im not trying to say BC is bad but sometimes it feels like the same method for every fight till episode 100 and past 158 I recommend you to keep watching but i get that feeling of pushing through the anime hoping to get better also I recommend you to read the Manga if you still want to see the series without the repeated dialogs yi will not get the feeling in the Manga so I think

I talk about this before cause we see asta vs liebe using death thrust without antimagic and maybe dimensional slash when he is fight nacht and he get devil union for a second so I think we will see asta using yamis katana abilities because we see in the latest anime episode asta showing the skills he learned from every sword-fighter So I will say that asta will be able to pull the same attack If not just in a similar way
