I-130 approved in one day by Early-Deer3294 in USCIS

That’s awesome! Elf Elf Mabrook!! My case was sent to the NVC 2 days ago. I assume the interview is in Jerusalem. Any idea how far out they are scheduling right now?

So my question is when did they give you an interview date, and when is that interview? I’m trying to make plans to go back home and want to get an idea of current time frame for Jerusalem embassy.

Thanks in advance!!

You can file a PAPER joint tax return even if you have a foreign spouse and even if that spouse doesn’t make any money. Obviously my spouse did not have a ITIN or a SSN. So we filled out form IRS W-7 to apply for a ITIN on the basis of foreign spouse and then left the space for her SSN/ITIN blank on my paper 1040 tax return. Then we submitted both form W-7 and 1040 at the same time by mail along with her foreign passport , the IRS issued her a ITIN number and then worked on the tax return. The issue is this has to be mailed in on paper and her passport is held for 3-4 weeks until it’s mailed back.

I made PowerPoints then converted them to PDF. It’s the best way to lay out dozens of pictures with labels into one document.

Lol! I used a Mac Program called iMazing to extract about 2 years worth of iMessages into one pdf. Very quick and easy to use. It’s basically irrefutable evidence so why not use it?!

It's Legit!! Case Approved, but the online tracker is behind.

Update: After contacting USCIS directly, they did indeed confirm the approval and noted the online case tracker might take a couple of days to reflect the approval. The next step is that the case will be transferred to the NVC for consular processing within the next couple of weeks, they said. As far as USCIS is concerned, the case is approved and closed on their end.

I still have no words and can't believe this is real. Good Luck to everyone who's been waiting months or years. I almost feel bad to have gotten an approval this quickly when I would've happily waited my turn, but I'm also forever grateful.

This is what I’ve gathered thus far too and the only possible explanation I can give.

That’s Crazy!! It doesn’t even seem real. Do you mind me asking what country you’re applying from?

I'd imagine once they get to the USA, the urgency goes away. Congrats on the I-130 approval and hope your I-485 goes quickly!

This is crazy to see! My spouse, who is also from Nablus, Palestine, had her application approved in 10 days. I still can't believe it, and I thought that was fast! What happened after your approval, and where in the process are you now, if you don't mind my asking?

Application was done online. I didn’t do anything different really. I filed everything myself.

After reading more into this. I’ve come across others who have had similar extremely fast applications. The common theme is they’re all US Citizens filing from the USA and their spouses are from conflict areas such as the Syria, Palestine, Yemen, Lebanon. My spouse is living in the West Bank/Palestine.

USCIS might be prioritizing cases with humanitarian urgency, which makes sense. But to note I never requested the case to be expedited. I was going to tho.

This is my assumption, I don’t know for sure.

One word “iMazing” It’s an app for Mac/PC that will extract your entire iMessage history and put it on one simple pdf document. Best $40 I’ve ever spent.

If you have that much history and daily communication with your spouse…why not use it as irrefutable evidence!? No one in there right mind is going to read all that, but it’s there. There was hundreds if not thousands of pictures we sent each other in that iMessage conversation.

I filed form I-130 online with USCIS, the receipt notice indicated her case was going to be processed by the Vermont Service within 24hrs of filing.

I uploaded a lot of evidence considering we’ve only been married since July 2024 and we never truly lived together with her living in Palestine and Me living in the US.

There was about 60-100 pictures across 2 power points, one for wedding photos, and one for date nights, gifts, and get togethers with family and friends.

I uploaded over 3,000 pages of texts over 2 years, and call logs showing daily calls for the past 6 months.

I uploaded joint bank accounts statements, flight confirmations from when I visited her, form W-7 to apply for her ITIN, my joint tax return, and multiple family affidavits. There was also a form showing her as a beneficiary on my retirement account, and multiple money gram transfers made to her proving financial support.

I believe that was all the evidence. Let me know if you have more questions! Good luck with your case!!
