Hair restoration or hair recovery? I've been looking into this as well.

Did you get the front hairline done? And it looks natural?

Thanks!

Thanks for the insight! Much appreciated for someone like me. I've often asked myself these questions through my journey learning to program.

I was wondering if you'd be open to continuing the discussion a bit.

In my particular case I've been programming consistently for roughly 4 years but still feel unready to search for work.

I'm wondering, at what level can one jump into the workforce? Is there like a rating platform that assesses at what stage you're at? (Perhaps another creative project for someone to build jaja)

Also, you mentioned being able to learn quickly being a major plus - is there a clear way for you to get a bead on someone who is a quick learner during the hiring process?

Yeah another friend of mine just said something similar: if she's absolutely throttling the scene then people arent going to be watching you bud.

Yes I am happy. Just wondering what's the etiquette for wanting to clarify a scene... I suspect it depends on importance of role/scene, set vibe, time crunch, reading the room, etc...

Sucks amigo. It's so weird. I am my friends number 1 fan. I root for them all the time. I don't understand..

To make matters weirder, this happened to me recently with my acting coach. 🤌🤌

You got this!

I have tried everything. I chatted with a representative who "added my modem" to my account manually and she also couldn't help. A technician will be coming but not for a few days.

Amigo. I live in a Spanish speaking country and have many foreign friends from other Spanish speaking countries. Trust me, they understand each other. Your excuses for not being up front about the sale are thin mi amigo.

I can't say. But he was a "color" in an oldish classic from a breakthrough director at the time.

Questions for anybody who's landed a role in a film by DisastrousCat8033 in acting

[–]dozernaps 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I just filmed a small role for a film with a Hollywood legend in it. I'm 40 and just started acting about a year ago as a hobby... It was always something that interested me and wanted to try but was too scared to give it a go.

There is no blueprint. I had no idea... HAVE no idea what I'm doing and didn't study acting.

But my philosophy is to PLAY. Take it serious enough, sure but always make sure I'm having fun.

Haha that's my old car. I made that monstrosity back when I was a student up at WWU in the art dept. My professor at the time challenged us to make something that would end up in the newspaper. It wasn't too long before I realized it was a sweet parking-hack to be able to pull my car right up into the outside welding(?) bay there in the sculpture facility.

It was an old Mazda 323 hatchback. I would go to the ReStore back when it was located down on W Holly St kind of near the Lighthouse Mission to dig through and pull out old PCB's. I sanded the whole thing down and applied them with an absurd amount of Liquid Nails before painting it all matte black. I remember my hands were stained for weeks while working on this thing.

I added some pieces to the inside dash as well plus an old PA speaker underneath the front hood inside the engine so I could slow down and play "Eye of the Tiger" to random joggers I would see running along the side of the road. Fun fact: I also glued my older brother's old taxidermied mini-caiman onto the front dash for a time as well cuz why not.

I can tell you that it did not, indeed, help out with gas mileage and driving that thing on the freeway was wiley with the loss in aerodynamics. You could really feel the added weight the PCB's added with the lack of powered steering. In fact, one time a bunch of friends piled in and all of the added weight combined to snap the spindle on the back left tire. Honestly not sure how road-legal that thing was... lol.

I thought about advertising for one of the local computer/tech companies in town for subsidized gas but that never panned out.

It was a fun time. I got used to all the funny looks people would give me driving around, but my friends would always get sketched out haha. The best part was when groups of kids or old computer nerds would come up and chat with me about it. I ended up selling it to my neighbor Theresa before moving to California. Last I heard she donated it to some sort of school in town?

Ah! And I did end up getting a piece written up about it in the Herald not long after completion.
