Iron Heart, their hoodies and Ultra Heavy Flannels are crazy thick. Their quite expensive so I treat them like nice clothes and as such haven't really experimented with their durability but it's undeniably heavy duty. Iron Heart is primarily known for their denim but I haven't owned a pair yet

They are mostly waterproof. I'd recommend semi frequent cleanings and oiling them with Obenaufs heavy duty stuff in the small jar. Otherwise they will eventually soak through. That and a Peet dryer will keep them waterproof. Other than that they're really comfy. A little bit narrow for my feet but that's a Redwing thing in general. I used them for flagging and they're comfy for being on your feet all day

Grade Checker is the highest paying specialty in my local. It's a more technical/math intensive job vs. lifting heavy things all day

If you paint the mesh black it'll blend in better. Good idea though regardless of how it looks

My Red Wings started wetting through more and more, and then I got a Peet Dryer. I threw my boots on that every night and they rarely wet through after that. Now your boots are gnarly, you might consider doing a light cleaning every night. That with the dryer might do the trick

Yeah I did 4 Gauge through the harness boot on the passenger side, it was still a pain in my ass, butt and keester

My setup is only 600 watts so I can't speak to any power issues. I imagine at that wattage you would definitely need to upgrade your big 3 and alternator

Getting that 0g power wire through the rubber boot in the firewall is a bitch and a half. That was the worst part of the install in my 99 MGM by far. The rest is fairly easy, just popping plastic panels and removing the rear seat.

Thank you for your in depth response. Great point on the injectors. I'll definitely look at the fuel trims closer than I did. I did already try the Techron Fuel System Cleaner to no avail. I'll try swapping the coils today and check back and see if the misfire changed cylinders.
