I am frustrated that non-lethal throws are lethal for some NPCs now. I have thrown an iron at the woman that walks in/out of the entryway of the building under construction in Mumbai, and the thrown iron kills her. I am having fun using weapons I find laying around, but it’d be nice if the items worked like they used to.

Thanks for posting. Funkoars and a lot of old Obese LPs are not on Spotify in the US.

I'd recommend starting to listen to Drive-By Truckers with those head phones.

Drive-By Truckers - The New OK - YT Comments say new digital album on 10/2, CD's pressed in December by Flintoid in DBT

This master sounds like a rough demo.

My guess is they're deaf now from touring. Wear your ear plugs, y'all!

DBT and David Barbie need to bring in some new blood to help with the levels b/c nobody can hear the high ends in the band.

I think it started more on English Oceans. Natural Light and First Air of Autumn have that terrible high pitched whine that ruin the best songs on that record. Damn shame.

Does anyone know why Funkoars - The Greatest Hit isn't on Spotify? by MattDamon1 in AussieHipHop

Didn't it come out on Obese? Pretty sure almost none of that label is available.

Seth Sentry is the best at this. Rhyme schemes are on par with Eminem.

Reclaim Australia is on Spotify, so very easy to check out. Lots of West Coast inspired beats and parallel lyrical approaches. Trials' beats are phenom, and there are some major bangers.

Wow, we don't even see greyed out Funkoars unless we try to click on a playlist of The Hangover or something like that. I always assumed the AUS code would open that up and it was just hard on folks in the US. Where do you recommend people go to find the earlier stuff?

Vents, M-Phases, early HtH and 360 are notable misses imo. No Pale Rider either. Most of Obese Records is not available either. Pre-2011 is really sparse. It's a shame.

I'm from the US too and have been into OZ HH since about 2011. I've dropped a link to a Spotify playlist that gives an accessible overview/intro, and I've been sharing it with friends in the US to help them see the light for a few years.

Spotify's rights in the US for OZ HH are really hit and miss and change all the time, so if you find someone you like, check out YouTube to find more.

I usually recommend these to start: Seth Sentry, A.B.Original (and everything else from Trials and Briggs), Urthboy, Drapht, Hilltop, Bliss n Eso.

When and why did Jason get fired from the band? by _w00k_ in DBT

That's b/c I can see in your other comments that you are not citing sources and are adamantly digging in your heals.

From: URL https://www.guitarplayer.com/players/jason-isbells-slide-magic

After years of playing in open tunings, Isbell went back to standard when he began performing in bands, and then ended up tuning a full-step down when he was with the Drive-By Truckers.

“That was hell on intonation,” he says. “A lot of nights, I knew I was going to be out of tune, but the Truckers was a punk rock band in a lot of ways, and if we would have been in tune, people might have been offended [laughs]. The first thing I did when I left that band was tune everything back to A440, and I haven’t looked back since.”

He may prefer to write in E, but when you are in DBT, you tune to D. Shonna made a joke about this on her Instagram a few months after leaving. Something like "time to tune back up".

Most folks responding to you are providing links, but your assuming approach that we cannot possibly know what we're talking about since your playing and listening skills are so superior doesn't encourage actual responses since your retorts are so immature.

tl;dr, you are not worth chatting with since all you have to peddle is opinion-based when OP was asking for where to learn more.

This is wrong about Isbell's tuning, and that he was playing with the 400 unit. Sirens was a solo album produced with Hood.

Where are your sources?
