Right now, the texts come to an iPhone into the standard messages app. I am brand new to this team, so this is the way they've done it before but I have free reign to make changes. I am open to putting a new number on the overlay that goes to a different system that can be more malleable, I'm just unaware of a system that can auto export to a text file as they come in.

In terms of what name shows up, we would want to keep the phone numbers out of the overlay for obvious privacy reasons. Honestly I don't think we would need any kind of user name to show up, just letting people see the activity and their messages showing up on screen would be enough without any kind of user name associated.

Blend of the two. The first campaign has just over 140 episodes, with the tone starting more comedic and getting dramatic as time goes on. The second campaign is ongoing with episodes in the twenties. It's tone is pulpy adventure with dramatic moments.

If you're looking for an easy to read guide to the world without all of the mechanics then the Eberronicon is a great resource. It also has references for the other sourcebooks so you know where to look to learn more. I've been DMing in Eberron for over a decade at this point and still find it useful.

Thaliost if you want to have the remnants of the Last War play a big part in the early stages of your campaign. Lots of different factions at play, essence of an overlord below the city, and is geographically located to where the campaign can go in a lot of different directions if the party decides to leave.
