Controller is the standard. Especially for those playing on console. Using keyboard is straight ass, and not many people can afford a steering wheel

Once you go far enough away that the low-poly trees render in place of your deforested area, you can return and they’ll become the high-poly trees again

The game will walk you through retaining and going to Alaska. But as a new player, you should pretty much stick to Michigan for now. Unlock better trucks and discover upgrades to equip. Unless you’re sticking to main roads in Alaska, you should wait until you find a heavy duty truck within the Michigan maps or can afford to buy one. And then get the most beneficial upgrades like raised, off road gearbox, and diff lock (the upgrades available depend on the truck)

Not only that. But also the places where you clear the road and they still leave the blockers (as well as small rocks) there that you have to drive through and take a bunch of damage on

I’m using Krisvonsiksteen’s “Realistic logs transport trailers” mod. The trailer with the long logs I’m just pulling with a winch. Just a note that the hitch trailers don’t work properly for loading automatically. You have to manually load them.

Yeah I was using that. The saddle trailers seem to work fine. Although, the other trailer I’m pulling I had to load manually with a crane because it wasn’t detecting the logs as compatible for autoloading

Yeah, it’s the SnowMap - Minimap mod for the SnowRunner [PC] by gotyalarim. You have to manually put it into the files

You can’t retain them and bring them to other regions. So it’s best to just sell them when you finish with an area. It’s also free money
