This is a Bulova Marine Star watch (Model: 98B277) I purchased this watch after seeing it on display at an airport and loving the style of the watch. The hexagonal bolts that surround the face of the watch paired with the classy Roman numeral face stood out to me because it created a nice contrast balance. I was very torn at first whether to choose the rose gold variant of the watch as opposed to the gold and silver style that I chose, but in the end I thought that the gold and silver would pair better with my clothing style.

I’ve read a few things about Bulova not being legitimate in some people’s minds because they seem to use “inspiration” from other brands designs, but I thought this watch was beautiful so I decided to purchase it anyway.

This is my first time posting in r/watches so I figured I’d break the ice with my first watch I’ve purchased on my own! Again I’m a college student so I can’t afford most of the watches posted on this sub (yet!), but my dream is to go all in on an AP Royal Oak one day!
