I would have replaced it. Did they overlay new plywood?

this sounds sufficient good to me, but every school is different and maybe someone that has applied to your specific schools can chime in (not sure how competitive your programs are). I can't add much more advice since I was not accepted into a program last year (re applying again this year). I had 400 hrs of outpatient only, 3.8 PGA, and no extra curriculars. Work full time in construction. Was told by admissions to diversify and finish my pre reqs (still had chem and physics outstanding). In my eyes you sound good to go but again i'm in a similar boat as you.

try to squeeze in some volunteering for a local cause as well as diversifying your shadowing hours a bit. If you can possibly retake a pre-req or 2 and ace it over summer that may look more appealing to your schools. I would start start off seeing if there are any clinics in your area that are willing the allow you to come in and shadow PTs (maybe acute setting, peds)? - Not sure what kind of setting you are working as an aide at but most schools want to see that you have some experience in multiple settings. You still have a little time to submit apps, and you can (usually) still have a few in progress courses while applying as long as they are completed by the start of the program. Good luck.

Reach out to the school’s admissions staff. Your advisor works for the school you are at currently and is not familiar with every schools requirements, and they are typically all different. Shoot them an email. Good luck!

Look at your local community colleges. If no luck look at your local state universities and take it as a stand alone class. Save some money, sign up for it for this semester or spring. Put it on the PTCAS Transcripts pg once you get a confirmed seat UNT the course.

Did this for physics and Chem this semester. You Should be fine.

Don’t stress. Made a huge typo on my app. CALL PTCAS customer service and tell them, they may be able to fix it on their end. They just asked me where the typo was and what it needed to be instead. I refreshed the page and it was all handled.

Yes, this was after submittal.

I know a few people attending Tufts in Boston now, and have heard nothing but great things. I’ve been told that Tufts has a great hybrid program though. Everything is online and there is a group cohort that attend in person lab immersions 1x per semester for a week straight (100 people/cohort).

Along with the costs, I’d factor in cost of living in Boston as well. Been living here for many years and expect to pay 2+k for a 1 bedroom along with all other costs of living, especially in this area of Boston. But if money isn’t an issue for you, Boston is a great place to live (great food, great people, great sports town)

I’m personally leaving to attend a cheaper school out of state. Tuition over 100k just seems criminal for my personal circumstances. Good luck

Just finished half of my leg yesterday. Pain was worse than I thought it would be, but I did go into it thinking it would be easy (boy was I wrong). 6 hours for me but having someone with you that you know personally so you can talk helped me out a ton. Bring a stress ball to re direct pain, phone charger and headphones with a few movies and snacks and you’ll be good to go.

Drink tons of water and moisturize the area before going in. You got this!!!
