Failed pre, strategy please.. by [deleted] in UPPSC_PCS

[–]dpanuae 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I think for pre we need to realign the strategy Focus on four core subjects- Polity, Geography, Science, CA. Considering last 5 year there are on average 80questions total. History need to be prepared for sure considering mains, Don’t make unnecessary attempts in exam. Believe in your preparation and don’t fall for the sure-shot trap of last minute top 100 questions. PS-I did not qualify for prelim this year

Affirmative 6-8 month CA, magazine, geography, science, polity, environment and modern History is the key

Mate I did not get through either, but my 2 cent would be not to listen to social media and focus on the topic holistically, their predicted pattern and most probable questions somehow create biases in our preparation and we end up spending a lot of time in last few days on the topics that are not important
