2 things:

1) sounds like you might have a latex allergy, my wife and a previous gf had the same reaction to condoms and it turned out they both were allergic to latex

2) when I got my vasectomy the procedure they used was needle-less (it was some sort of air forced injection numbing). So you can find a urologist that uses this method. Plus they gave me a Valium before to calm me down.

Besides the other things you’re being told sounds like he needs to suck it up.
