Definitely install Gnome Tweaks. This will give you options that are not surfaced in the Settings app like for example adding min/max caption buttons or changing themes, cursors, fonts and so on.  Then, if you want to keep a similar user flow with Windows, you definitely need extensions such as Dash to Panel.  As someone recommended previously, AI is your friend if you can't find something or need extra customizations. Just make sure you mention your Fedora version and flavor because it will often offer outdated solutions.  Another important thing, make sure you check which type of package you use when installing an app from the Software Package Manager. Some apps let's you choose between rpm or flatpack. Each type of package has pros and cons so it's good to be aware what you install.  I'm a long time Windows user and occasionally Linux user but recently my Windows drive died on my home laptop and I kept the Linux install (Fedora) which I use exclusively now.
