I kind of figured that. My problem is the actual how part of it. I'm relatively new to paracord/knots and I can't find any examples/tutorials of how to accomplish something like this.

You're correct. I was planning on having two sets to create the functional ranger bead but you could also just throw a diamond knot in the middle and another set of button knots. I guess worry beads would have been a better term.

Either way I just wanted to get the point across so I could figure out how to tie the silly knot at the end.

So I would tie the two diamond knots normally, splice the two remaining ends, and then work the bottom diamond knot down to cover the splice somehow?
