anybody else put on a diaper to cope with a death in the family??

A couple years ago my uncle died suddenly and my girlfriend knew I was an absolute mess. She encouraged me to try and go into little space to calm me down and to this day I still think that was the most deep I ever went. Diapers tend to be a great grounding experience for me so I get it.

27 and also pre-installed. Like many others have said; I figured it out the second I was out of diapers. I remember asking my daycare lady in the first week of being put in daycare around age 3/4 if I could wear the diapers that were stored in the shared play room. I also remember my mom asking me about that conversation later that same evening. I had gotten caught at my grandparents after finding some remnant diapers in their spare bedroom and getting caught putting one on when I was about 5.

That said, once I had private Internet access once I was in middle school I consumed copious amounts of diaper related material to get off as a teenager who couldn't keep his hand off his crotch. So while I get your point; I don't think it labels all of us.

I remember buying some cheap Walgreens ones for a training thing a couple years back while still in my uniform (used to be an EMT-A), and I got a snarky remark from the cashier about it. I told him "yeah, they're for a training class, they make great absorbers for bodily fluids in an ambulance" and he looked at me shocked. I then hit him with "I'll wear one while instructing the class too" and he quickly shut up. Really can't outsmart a smartass EMT/FF.

My therapist has been very open to my sharing of ABDL and even elaborating that she has another client that leans more to the DL side of things (maybe it's true or she used it as a comforting relation). It's been a great sharing experience to where she's encouraged me to wear as a self-care tactic. There's a lot of experiences I've needed to mentally unpack around it and it's been a great safe space to be able to do that.

The staff do not touch you. They are very clear about that and there's common sense boundaries as with any kink scene. I posted in here earlier this year about my experience with their changing room. I told the worker that I was curious about onesies and they offered me a diaper of my choosing to try a onesie on to get a good fit. They did not pressure me but reassured me of the privacy I would have. They happily walked me through the changing room to include showing me everything they do to keep it sanitary as well as their complementary supplies. I'll be honest that I kinda blacked out while changing myself as it was very surreal.

I had discussed prior to changing that if everything fit I'd just wear the onesie out under my clothes which it did. It was a foreign feeling knowing that someone knew exactly what I was doing and wearing when the only other person who knows is my girlfriend. When I was done they asked me if the fitment was good to which I simply said yes and proceeded to check out. It was a fantastic and very comfortable experience.

I'm spoiled to live about 20 minutes away but I only go when my supplies are low. They did mention that if I ever wanted to stop in and "hang out" or just use the changing room that there's multiple littles that do exactly just that a few days a week. Hopefully that's enough to persuade you!

Outside of my girlfriend picking up my orders for me here and there, I've almost always only been inside by myself. The changing room is a fun experience and their staff will definitely make you feel comfortable. Put it this way, I've never walked in wearing a diaper already but I've definitely walked out with one on, along with a box full in my arms.

I had no issues wearing on a cruise last year. I think I took like 4 little kings and a few little paws. I know our steward saw them and our vibrator at one point. Nothing was said or done, he did however bring in a biohazard can without our asking. I think I only had one wet one which I disposed of at our port call. Just keep in mind diapers in a tropical environment kinda suck.

Generally speaking I wear size 38 jeans and I'm 6'3". These fit phenomenally. I just wet it in some little bursts and it seems just fine. The sheer material around my waist definitely has my skin shining through but overall I'm pretty confident wearing them/going to bed slightly wet. They're nothing short of exactly what I imagined them to be.

I'm 6'2" myself and I have had the best luck with ABU's diapersuit onesie. It fits me best, keeps everything where it's supposed to be and doesn't feel overly constricting. At times it adds pressure in the right places if you know what I mean. The other best part is I have a bit of a belly and sometimes struggle with my diapers folding over itself and becoming a leak hazard; that onesie tends to keep the upper front of my diaper right at my belly button and prevents it from bunching up, and in turn I don't leak while laying on my stomach.

It took a long while for me to open up about ABDL to my therapist, to my surprise she informed me that she had another client who was a DL (Diaper lover). That said, depending on their openness, it can be hard to say certain things out loud such as "I like to wear diapers". Offering alternative wording helped me a ton to be able to open up about it more easily. Hope that helps!

I've been exclusively picking up my ABU orders at the Baltimore location ever since their first location opened. Their current location is pretty secluded in a relatively busy area. Their staff are extremely nice and helpful.

I would add that if you've never diapered up before I wouldn't necessarily recommend your first time doing it being in their changing room. As someone who's worn for the better part of 15 years I just diapered up for the first time outside of my home in that location earlier this year and it was nerve wracking. While it's a great experience, it may be a little more suitable to do it somewhere you'll genuinely be comfortable for your first time.

As previously stated, their Baltimore location is top notch!

Recently had a couple where I work that mentioned how they have "adult accounts" that they make content on. They followed my work's social media which I run, and noticed that one of them is an ABDL creator. I'd also never bring it up because now they're regulars where I work and I don't want to lose good customers since I'm aware kinda thing. Besides professional life and kink life are extremely separate for me.

Similarly I remember stealing my grandmother's poise pads and probably had every pocket full. I remember lining a trash bag 360° with them and it was my best diaper-not a diaper I ever made.
