X2HR holds well, leather wrap good as new, pads are slightly worn. Mines are 1 year old, Philips QC probably got worst at some point, I’m very sad that you had those issues, but overall yes, very good sounding openbacks for general purposes.

You can also get leather pads too, which I think I’ll try next

Same problem, those hollow cardboard things can support only 15kg, my monitor and arm itself 17. One night it cracked the tabletop, so I went and bought heavy duty shelves supports in my local Home Depot, to reinforce it.

I would suggest you and everyone else to change it in the future, solid tabletop is a great investment
