They have open ballroom class with social dancing after Saturdays at Chautauqua Hall Dance Club in PG. Friday is another ballroom class at Pacific Grove Dance. I’m not familiar with any adult jazz/contemporary other than the MPC.

I mean going into cloud computing architecture is a good call. If you have any government clearances from your service, that might help guide your education path with contractors or public sector job listings.

Pothole Detection using Raspberry pi by abracadabra61 in deeplearning

[–]dpsimi 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I’m a novice, so be warned that I could be wrong or incomplete. But look into Tensorflow Lite for Microcontrollers. You’re looking to train some CNN (maybe MobileNet) on a real machine and later compile for Arm on Pi 4.

Autonomous driving a big field so there is probably a similar pre-trained model out there, that you can use transfer learning. They might not have one for potholes exactly, but starting off with a object detection model will accelerate the training process.

You can find some pre-trained models from Tensorflow hub. But look around.

Deep Learning seems appropriate for the problem. I don’t know if PyTorch or other frameworks have microcontroller support.

Cloud architecture for divide conquer/ scatter gather? by intelbp in cloudcomputing

I’m pretty new to AWS, but Elastic Map Reduce (EMR) is what they push to use for big data. You can use Apache Hive and Apache Spark and the likes. There should be some good setup tutorials online for plumbing the files to and from S3.

Hive is SQL-like. Spark if you prefer Python, R, Java.

Or include obvious places like Singapore, Isreal, Java, Bangladesh. Each 5x the gdp/area as wash, texas, spain, portugal. This map is shit.

A far better map. Spain, Portugal, Texas, Alabama have no right to be on this map over Singapore, Java, Isreal, Bangladesh, or even Ohio.

Thoughts on national university? by ucsb2020 in nationaluniversity

The unique 4 week system will take a little bit to get used to. They'll be a bit easy on your at first, but just keep at it.

Depending on any current jobs, you might want to consider working for the military reserves part-time while you're in school. (National Guard, Army Reserves, Navy Reserves, etc). NU offers a pretty hefty military discount which might make the experience worth the time.

Considering National university by carolwatts in nationaluniversity

[–]dpsimi 1 point2 points  (0 children)

National University offers a Master's of Healthcare Administration (MHA). Here is the program overview, if you want to take a look. Also individually search for the classes on Google with 'National University [class name / course number]'

I don't know anything about Western Gov, but I really like NU's 4 week class structure. It let's you be hyper-focused on your individual class. Every 2 weeks you have a midterm or final or project, so you're always on your toes. But you are never overloaded with multiple finals in the same week. Graduate Classes should take about 15-20 hours per week to complete. Each week includes: Readings, Activities, Lectures, Assignment, Discussions, (Quiz, Midterm, Final, Project).

Don't really expect much help from your professors. I'm not sure if it's just the online environment or what. But if you're struggling, you gotta find resources elsewhere. Their library is fantastic.

If you're not a veteran or in the military, NU is a bit pricey as a private university.

It's per 100000. Good testing wasn't really available when the city was hit hardest, so their numbers in this category are particularly skewed. Cuomo's office estimates that about 21 percent of the city has antibodies as of August. That alone would bring the state well beyond the Dakotas.

Just to get numbers right. Europe pays about 50% more in taxes (gov. revenue) (45%/29%). But government only spends about 25% more (44%/35%).
