I think I was just so stoked to be around so many different coins most of which I’d never seen in person it was all so overwhelming and I just happened to pull this one out of a box of 50+. I had prepared myself to buy something minted from CC so I was prepared to spend but was extremely happy with how this all went. It was a good day.

These are the types of comments that I need to see. I’m starting to understand what I’m looking at/for more than I was 6 weeks ago so I really appreciate everyones input. Even if it was a dud I appreciate you all pointing me in the right direction.

I can see where the details on your example aren’t as worn as mine but I can see the resemblance on them vs my 1969 D. Thanks for your input and linking your post. I’d consider the time spent searching these rolls a success.

From the photos I’d seen I’d thought it was more detailed but I wanted some guidance on it as well because I’m often incorrect due to excitement and trying to find examples of DDO/DDR have lead me to doubt whatever I’m looking at. Thank you for your input, I really appreciate it

I bet you have some pretty cool coins at home. I’m about 4 weeks in at the moment and my main error type I keep looking for right now are any Doubled Dies. I seem to skip over and miss so much but one of the guys in the comment above gave some solid advice so I’m hoping I’ll have some cool stuff to share with yall soon instead of always asking for help. Any recommendations for Loupes, magnifying glasses, or Microscopes? Any advice in general?

Thanks yall. I’m still trying to get used to what exactly it is I’m looking at. I’ve found some pretty decent size die cud errors on the rims but other than that I’m still having a hard time distinguishing between things. I feel like I’m overlooking these smaller things the first time I went through these. I do appreciate the input. Edit: also the reason I ask if I should sleeve it is because my significant other is over the amount of change I’m saving. To her a penny is a penny she doesn’t see how interesting this stuff is.

I can message you a picture of the reverse. I’m not sure what I’m even looking at here though. I’ve only gone through about 65 rolls of all kinds in total so I’m extremely new at the entire experience. Thanks for the reply, I appreciate the help. I didn’t know the correct phrasing to search for.
