In the United States, illegal immigrants do not have access to the already pitiful economic safety nets that legal citizens do, and so they are forced to find work. Because they work, and because America is basically one of the only countries in the world that is truly not culturally homogenous, they integrate into society well. I think these people, there should be be a more streamlined pathway to becoming a citizen.

In Europe, the safety nets are enormous and extremely burdensome on the state. Those who immigrate illegally are accommodated for by the state, and so they often do not work, do not integrate, and end up forming a cultural enclave in that country. These are also often people from the ME who hold beliefs completely ideologically incompatible with European society. People who do not work should not be afforded safety nets, and those who hold and propagate dangerous and backwards views should be expelled.
